Peoria Englewood, Co 80112 Dear Air Evac Lifeteam Piloting aircrafts has always defied the natural order of the world allowing man to achieve feats that seemed impossible, and to quote Douglas Adams. Flying is learning to throw yourself at the ground and miss. I have been around aircrafts since I was a young boy visiting my father at the Atlanta naval base, and I have always aspired to fly since then. As a pilot I am devoted, motivated, and very conscious when it comes to procedures when operating an aircraft. I am qualified with night flights unaided, multi-engine ratings, turbine engine time, and meet the weight requirement of under 220lb. I feel that if hired I would make a great addition to your staff because of all my prior experiences in the piloting work force. For the past five years I have acquired over one hundred and fifty hours of flight time along side professional instructor Dr. Ray at Dewitt Spain in Memphis, Tennessee. I have also sat in second in command for fifteen students of all ages who were trying to receive their pilots license. Also I have work for Federal Express in the shipping department in the main offices of the HUB, which has allowed me to gain knowledge of all the aspects of air traffic procedure and shipment arrangement. There are also multiple computer systems I am proficient at using which I can use when working in the offices, and I am trained in using the MyFlight software for tracking flights. I feel that my previous work with FedEx will allow me to start quickly and already have the basic knowledge to start working in the shipping environment. I will follow up with the main offices at the Colorado Air Field and will also send in a copy of my flight log, flight time, and pilots log so they can be properly checked and verified. Also I am in the process of receiving the necessary helicopter hour you require and will be done in the next two weeks. Im available anytime on my cell phone and email; please contact me anytime that is convenient. Thank you for the opportunity to be considered for the position. Sincerely yours, Edward Blaine Kime IV
