1. Basic router/switch requirements

Router name: Assign the routers/switches names as in the diagram (e.g. FR_SW, Hanoi,..., switch1, switch2 ,...). Each router can ping and telnet to any other router using this name. Clock rate: Use the clock rate 128000 for all DCE ports. Password: Console, AUX, and vty lines are password protected, password=cisco; set the privileged mode password (enable secret password) to cisco. Banner and descriptions: Banner contains the name of the student who configures the device; descriptions of interface (or sub-interface) contain the name of the device it connects to. Banner (motd) example: Hello, this is router 1, configured by ABC. Interface description example: Connect to vlan apple. All student have to read through other students job

2. Frame Relay 2.1 Hub-and-Spoke

Configure a Frame Relay hub-and-spoke network between R1, R2, and R4 using the information provided in the diagram. Traffic from R1 destined for R2 should transit R4 and vice versa.

2.2

Point-to-Point
Configure a Frame Relay point-to-point network between R4 and R5. R4 and R5 should use a subinterface numbered .54 for this Frame Relay connection. Use only the DLCIs specified in the diagram. Do not use any dynamic or static layer 3 to layer 2 mappings over these Frame Relay connections.

3. Interior Gateway Routing 3.1 OSPF

Configure OSPF area 0 and 34 according to the information provided in the diagrams. Advertise the Loopback Y networks of these devices into OSPF area 0.

3.2

OSPF
The Ethernet link between R4 and R5 will be used primarily as a backup of the Frame Relay circuit between them. Configure the network so that traffic is only sent over this Ethernet segment if the Frame Relay circuit between R4 and R5 is down.

3.3

EIGRP
Configure EIGRP AS 200 on R1, R2, R3, and SW1. Configure EIGRP AS 2010 on SW1 and SW2. Advertise the Loopback Y networks of these devices into the EIGRP domain.

4. IGP Redistribution
Redistribute EIGRP 2010 into EIGRP 200 on SW1. Redistribute EIGRP 2010 into OSPF on SW2. In order to ensure optimal routing within the OSPF domain configure your network so that routes redistributed in from EIGRP have a cumulative metric throughout the OSPF domain.

5. Exterior Gateway Routing 5.1 BGP Peering

Configure BGP on the following devices with the following AS numbers: Device R1, R2, R3, Sw1 R4, R5, R6, Sw2 R7 SW3, SW4 Configure the BGP peering sessions as follows: Device R1 R2 R3 R4 R5 Announcing Networks in BGP: Advertise the LoopbackY interfaces of these devices into BGP Note: Do not advertise physical network into BGP ( ex: do not adv Net13,23 into BGP) Peers R4, R3, SW1 R3, R4, R7 R1, R2, SW1 R6, R5, R2, R1,SW2, SW3, SW4 R6, R4, SW2, SW3, SW4 Device R6 R7 Sw1 Sw2 Sw3 Sw4 Peers R5, R4 R2 R1, R3, SW2 R5, R4, SW1 R5, R4 R4, R5 BGP AS 200 100 254 300

5.2

BGP Bestpath Selection

Configure AS 100 so that all traffic destined for network 30 uses the Ethernet segment between SW1 and R1. Configure AS 100 so that all traffic destined for network 33 should use the Frame Relay segment between R2 and R4.

Configure SW3 with four new loopback interfaces with the IP addresses 100.0.0.0/8---103.0.0.0/8. And advertise this Loopback interfaces of these devices into BGP Configure SW4 with eight new loopback interfaces with the IP addresses 104.0.0.0/8---111.0.0.0/8. And advertise this Loopback interfaces of these devices into BGP Configuring AS200: Best path to network 100-104.0.0.0/8 via Ethernet segment between SW1, SW2. Best path to network 104-111.0.0.0/8 should use the Frame Relay segment between R2 and R4.

5.4

BGP Filtering
Configure AS 254 so that it filter all the routes below from enter the AS 254: o Loopback of R5, SW3 network o Network 30 of R3

6. IPv6 Tunneling
Create new Loopback interfaces on R3, R4, and R5 with the IP addresses 2001:1:0:Y::Y/64 where Y is the router number. Create tunnels between: o R3 & R4: manual Ipv6 tunnel .Use the IPv6 addresses 2001:1:0:14::Y/64 o R4 & R6: 6to4 tunnel Use OSPFver3 to obtain connectivity between R3,R4,R5 Ipv6 loopback network. Configure ADSL Router receive IP address from BRAS (R6 and R7): 66.66.66.0/24 and 67.67.67.0/24 Configure VPN Site-to-Site between ADSL1 (ADSL Router connect to R6) and SW3 Configure VPN Site-to-Site between ADSL2 (ADSL Router connect to R7) and SW4
