This unit is appropriate for all students, including learning abilities or learning styles. This unit is based from McGraw-Hill My Math textbook that is strictly Common Core. It contains modifications of all lessons for all students: below, average and high students. I have incorporated different ways to instruct students throughout the lesson, allowing all learning styles to be addressed. Each lesson includes and introduction video, the pages are projected on the board, hands-on materials are used. Unit Objectives Activities/ Instructional Strategies

The teacher will use proximity to closely monitor all students throughout the lesson to ensure they are getting the concepts of the lesson and completing their work thoroughly. Students will raise their hands if they have any questions or concerns; this is a practiced daily routine.

There are two Resource students, so the teacher will monitor them closely during transitions to make sure they are keeping up. One has a tendency to fall behind and quit participating; therefore, the teacher will help specifically. The multiple choice portion of the post-assessment will have two answer choices instead of the normal three. ***Pages 279-280: subtraction fluency practice
