ROYANNE K. DOI
Royanne Doi is Corporate Chief Ethics Officer at Prudential Financial, Inc., Japan, and has spent nearly 20 years in Japan. She was previously Senior Regional Counsel for Asia Pacific for State Street Bank and Trust Company, covering banking, asset management, foreign exchange and securities. She serves on the Board of the U.S.-Japan Council.

SUSAN EICHOR
Susan Eichor is President and Chief Operating Officer of aio, a family of businesses in media, sports, food and technology. Aios brands include ESPN, NBC Sports Radio, Honolulu Magazine, Hawaii Business Magazine, Mana Magazine, BHayman, Milan Marketplace, Obun Hawaii, Hukilau Honolulu, Upspring Media, Pagoda Restaurant, Punaluu Bake Shop and Watermark Publishings. She also serves as the board chair for the aio Foundation, serves on the Shidler College of Business Advisory Council and Boards of Diamond Head Theater and Lanakila Pacific.

DIANNE FUKAMI
Diane Fukami is the Co-founder and President of Bridge Media, Inc., a company specializing in media consulting and producing video and television projects. She was a former news executive for the CBS station KPIX TV in San Francisco for nearly 15 years. She has written, directed and co-produced many documentaries about the Japanese American experience that have been televised locally and nationally on PBS stations.

TULSI GABBARD
Tulsi Gabbard is U.S. Representative for Hawaiis Second Congressional District. She is the first American Samoan, the first Hind member and, along with Tammy Duckworth, one of the first two female combat veterans to also serve in the U.S. Congress. She previously served on the Honolulu City Council, in the Hawaii House of Representatives and as legislative aide to retired U.S. Senator Daniel Akaka.

ALICE INOUE
Alice Inoue is the Chief Happiness Officer of Happiness Uan educational establishment in Honolulu where you learn about things that were never taught in school about how to find happiness in life. She has served as a life guide for over 12 years, helping thousands of people find clarity in their lives through her own unique way to help others live more empowered lives. Her award-winning books include A Loving Guide to These Shifting Times, Be Happy, Feng Shui Your Life!, Just Ask Alice and Destination Happiness. Her popular column, Go Ask Alice!, appears in the Sunday edition of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

KYOKO Y. KIMURA
Kyoko Kimura is the Managing Director of Hotel Wailea, a luxury all-suite resort in Wailea, and Maui Beach Hotel, a historical property in Kahului, Maui. With over 25 years of experience in the hotel industry, she has served as Board Member of the Hawaii Tourism Authority, Board Chair of the Maui Hotel Association, President of the Maui Japanese Chamber of Commerce, President of the Japanese Cultural Society of Maui and Board Member of the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. She is currently a Board Member of the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii, Pacific Cancer Foundation and the Small Business Regulatory Review Board for the State of Hawaii.

SABRINA S. MCKENNA
Justice McKenna is a Justice on the Supreme Court of Hawaii. She practiced law upon graduation from the William S. Richardson School of Law and served as General Counsel to Otaka, Inc. She was an Assistant Professor at the UH Law School before being appointed a District Court Judge and then elevated to the Circuit Courts in 1995. In 2011, McKenna was appointed to the Supreme Court of Hawaii. Justice McKenna has chaired and served on numerous boards and commissions, including her current service as Co-chair of the Hawaii Supreme Courts Committee on Equality and Access to the Courts. She previously Co-chaired the Hawaii Supreme Court Committee on Court Interpreters and Language Access, a position in which she oversaw the creation and implementation of Hawaiis court interpreter certification program.

DEBRA NAKATOMI
Debra Nakatomi is President of Nakatomi & Associates, a firm specializing in strategic communications addressing health, education and environmental issues. Debra brings extensive experience developing outreach campaigns, community engagement programs and media advocacy campaigns. She is an invited speaker on philanthropy, inclusiveness and communications as a tool for change in business and non-governmental organizations. She serves on the Board of Girl Scouts of the USA, Asian Pacific Islander American Health Forum and the Little Tokyo Service Center Community Development Corporation.

MERLE A. OKAWARA
Merle Okawara, born in Hawaii, is the Chairperson of JC Comsa Corp., a Japan-based food manufacturer and restaurant chain operator. She has served on numerous Japanese government advisory boards dealing mainly with gender equality and entrepreneurship. She is the author of two books, When Women Start Companies and Women Leaders in Japans Food Industry.

BARBARA J. TANABE
Barbara Tanabe is the Owner and Managing Partner of Hoakea Communications, a public affairs company. She has 30 years of experience in public affairs, crisis and issues management and broadcast journalism in the U.S. and Asia. Her professional career began at KOMO-TV in Seattle and, in 1974, she became the Anchor and, later, Senior Business Correspondent with KHON-TV in Hawaii. In 1994, she was the first woman to chair the Hawaii Visitors Bureau. Her board affiliations now include Bank of Hawaii, East West Center, Japan America Society of Hawaii and Pacific Forum.

SUSAN YAMADA
Susan Yamada has been the Executive Director of the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship since 2008. Located within the University of Hawaiis Shidler College of Business, the Center hosts a comprehensive set of programs utilizing both experiential and mentoring approaches to teaching students and faculty the process of entrepreneurship. She serves on the Board of the Hawaii Nature Center, the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Hawaii and KCAA Preschools.

JAN YANEHIRO
Jan Yanehiro, born and raised in Hawaii, hosted the Evening Magazine from 1975-1990, the inspiration for todays magazine format for TV. She received an Emmy as show host for her work and was inducted into the Academy of Television and Radio Hall of Fame in New York City as well as into the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She is currently the President of Jan Yanehiro, Inc., a media and marketing strategic planning company. She has co-authored three books Having a Baby, After Having a Baby, and This Is Not The Life I Ordered and 50 Ways to Keep your Head Above Water When Life Keeps Dragging You Down.
