About day ago in a town called London there was a woman named Mary she was engaged to be married

to Joseph the fire man. One day a fairy came to her and said. You have been chosen to have a special baby. The baby would be God's son and she must call him Jesus.

The Journey to Tilbury town

Soon after the fairy's visit, Mary and Joseph were married. Mary was due to have her baby when they were told they had to go on a long journey Tilbury town all the way in Essex, which was where Joseph came from. This was because they had to pay a special tax. Mary had to ride in a Volvo car for a one hours over the hills of London bridge.

No room at the flat

At last Mary and Joseph arrived in Tilbury Town. There were crowds of other people who needed to pay their taxes. Mary was very tired and needed a place to stay, At each flat it was the same story. Eventually, one kind women said he had a room in his house. They were welcome to stay there if they wanted to.

Jesus is born
And so it was a few hours later, Mary gave birth to her son in the womens house. She wrapped Jesus in strips of blue cloth and laid him on the bed.

TLC hears the news

At the same time, on a hillside overlooking the tilbury town, the band TLC hear the news. A bright light appeared in the sky. They were very afraid. It was the Fairy sent by God. The fairy told them not to be afraid, because he had some good news. He said the son of God has been born and they would find him in tilbury town.

A new star appears

Far away in the east, TLC saw a new star shining high in the sky. The group studied the stars and they knew this was a special star. They studied their scrolls where it said that whenever a bright new star appeared for no where it meant that a great ruler has been born.

Following the star

TLC decided to follow the star to find the new ruler. They went to London to see the King Herod, as they thought the baby would be in the palace. They asked to see the child that would be King of Jews. The King was troubled. He thought this new King may take away his throne. He told them to return when they had cam found the baby so that he could worship the child himself.

TLC give gifts

TLC wanted to go and see the baby. When they arrived at the woman houses, they were filled with joy at seeing Jesus lying on the bed. They sat down on the chairs and worshipped him. They told Mary and Joseph how the fairy had appeared in the sky and told them that Jesus was to be the saviour of the world.

Jesus is safe
TLC went back to their country without calling to see the Herod. Soon after Joseph had a dream where the fairy told him to take Mary and Jesus to Egypt as King Herod had ordered that Jesus be killed, they left Bethlehem right away. When the TLC did not return, Herod ordered the baby boys in Bethlehem be killed. They did not find Jesus as he was safe.
