Christmas, the celebration of the coming of Our Lord into this
world, is now only a few days away. Take some time each day this
week to reflect on what it means that God Himself entered into
our world in so humble a way as He did to become Emmanuel, God
with us. Reflect, too, on Marys humility in bringing Jesus to us.
How can you, too, bring Christ more fully into the lives of others?

CHRISTMAS NEWS FROM PAULIST PRODUCTIONS

The Paulists Fathers Film and
Television Ministry, based in Los
Angeles, recently released
Christmas for a Dollar, a
wonderful holiday movie
reminding us that money isnt what makes Christmas full of love,
joy, and miracles. The movie is now available on DVD. To order

Paulist Productions will also produce a Christmas
Eve Special, A New York Christmas to
Remember, for CBS. It will be filmed at New
York Citys St. Paul the Apostle, mother church
of the Paulist Fathers. The one-hour special of
Bible lessons and Christmas carols will air
nationally on December 24 at 10:35 pm Central
Time. The Special will feature the Nativity Story
as dramatized by puppets created by the late Jane

Christmas EVE mass Dec. 24th, 5:00 pm
Please join us to celebrate the birth of Our Lord at
the UCCs Christmas Eve Mass, held in the Holy
Spirit Chapel on December 24th at 5:00 pm!
UCC 2-MASS SUNDAYS AND WEEKDAY CLOSURES

2-Mass Sundays (10:30am, 8pm) Dec. 15 - Jan. 5.
4-Mass Sundays will resume again January 12, 2014.

We will be closed weekdays Dec.19 - Jan. 3. The
UCC will be locked and daily Mass will not be
offered. Normal hours (business 9-5) will resume January 6, 2014.
Poinsettia donations needed!
If you would like to donate poinsettias to the UCC
for our Christmas decorations, please drop them
off in the Holy Spirit Chapel anytime during our
open hours (see notes on open hours below).

Our Lady of the Angels Maternity Shelter. Friday,

Vocations - Project Andrew Feb. 8, 2014

am to 2:00 pm at St. Mary Cathedral in
Austin. Project Andrew is an annual
vocation event hosted by Bishop
Vsquez for Catholic men (ages 15-45)
open to learning more about
discernment, the priesthood, and
seminary. The event is named after St. Andrew, who invited his
brother, Simon-Peter, to come meet Jesus and consider becoming
