INTRODUCTION
Highest gratitude to Allah S.WT for His bounties and our group has successfully completed the brick workshop and lab reports. Stretcher bond is one of the way to reinforce a brick structure. As we have seen, there are widely used type of bond. But in this work we focus on the bond side of the brick. Lime mortar was used for bricks. Bond brick side is usually used for the purpose for building the walls of the building
WEARING SAFETY BOOTS: Wearing safety boots important to ensure our feet protected during the lab work. By wearing this safety boots, risk getting serious injuries from accident for example, brick fall into feet can be evaded.
WEARING SAFETY JACKET: Wearing safety jacket important to ensure our upper part of body are protected. By wearing the safety jacket we are protected from the dust and dirtyness due to patching and mixing the mortar.
MACHINERY SAFETYNES :We also using machine to cut the brick into needed structure. Thus, we follow the instruction on how to use the machine Correctly to prevent accident from occur.
OBJECTIVE
1)To compare between the arrangement of the first layer and second layer.
THEORY
Nowadays, this type of bonding are widely use in construction. It contains with header layer and side (stretchers) layer. At the headers layer, close half brick must be placed after the angle of brick header. It is to avoid the continues of straight joint. Its joint is of the brick. For the wall with the bigger thickness, all the brick in the middle must be sorted in crossing way.

PROCEDURE
1. To make a mortar, mix the fine sand (which been filtered ) with wet lime in the ratio of 1:3 ( 1 bucket of wet lime : 3 bucket of fine sand )
2. After that, by using brick laying trowel, take a scoop of lime mortar and put on the working site.
3. For the first layer, take one full side brick and gently put on the lime mortar by showing its side to the outer wall. Check the height of mortar and brick by using the brick gauge.
4. Check the bondings level using spirit level to get a correct vertical and horizontal level. 5. Then, joint it with one full brick tack together on its left side. Continue to do the same bonding along the first layer with another 4 more set.
6. For the second layer, lay a one full to brick by showing its header to outside of the wall.
7. Then, joint the same bonding along the second layer by using close half brick continue with another 7-9 full brick, 1 close half brick again and close ot with 1 ful brick. All of these brick must be connected by its side and showing its side and showing its header to outside.
8. Pay attention that jointing between each brick using mortar must be in average of one finger (10 15mm) .
9. Continue to do another three layer according to step 3-8 and every group must build a five layer of english bond.
ENGLISH BOND
CONCLUSION
From this laboratory work, we gain knowledge on how to build a wall with English bond. We also learn to use correct tools to build a wall. From this we also learn correct and proper knowledge to build a wall with English bond, We also understand how the real site worker do their work. All of this knowledge, we can apply throughout our life in order to become a good engineer.
