1. General Description
The W3100 Series GPRS Wireless Router, based on the 2.5G mobile communication technologies, is a sort of terminal equipment for real time data transmitting through the matured GSM network. It can provide standard Ethernet interface and support the special network of VPN with the inner standard TCP/IP protocol. It can transmit the real time industrial testing data efficiently. Also it can realize wireless link between the GPRS network and the local area network or the equipments with standard 10BASE-T interface. It has the address transforming (NAT) function or other network service function. It can be used both in the medium or small enterprises and in family to land on the Internet. Either it can transmit mass industrial pictures or wireless POS data. After connecting the router with the Ethernet, the user can visit the Internet With the NAT and DMZ function, it has one 10M LAN interface and can configure parameter through the UDP tools soft ware.

6.2 Install the router

Using a cross-Through cable to connect the Ethernet card with RJ45 interface of W3100GR. Or connect to switcher or HUB use straight-Through Cable.

5.1 DIP-Switch Setup

If you want to return all the W3100GRs current settings to its factory default.Please use it. DIP Switch1 turn up ON dropping back into factory default parameter. Then turn down OFF running normally. If you changed the local IP address and forget it, you dont know which gateway your router is in,you cant enter the configuration software, please use DIP Swith1. Turn up it,it will get back to 192.168.1.254. DIP Switch2, Switch3, Switch4 doesnt use now

6.3 Connecting the antenna with the router. 6.4 POWER led is on,it means power suplly is normal and the router runs normal;LAN led is on,it means LAN connected;WAN led is on,it means Internet connected;SIGNAL led flikered regularly,it means GPRS net is normal.

7. Parameter configuration of the router

Set up the configuration software that our company provide in the CD.Connect the W3100GR with your PC.

6. Installation and setting of the W3100GR

MTU: advise you to choose a number:1200-1500, if you cant browse the web or the speed on internet is slow,you can try 0,1490,1492 . Local IP:you can set it same as your LAN gateway address. No data Line-off: if there is no data to trasmit,the GPRS network will be off . Check Circle: the time of checking the GPRS network. Default time is 5 min. Restart Circle: keep default time. Wan IP: if the router is online,it will get the Wan IP automatically. First DNS and Second DNS: keep them same as your PCs DMZ IP: address of the pc Click the confirm, entre the configuration interface. User name and Password: keep it default.
