Downtown Tallahassee New Years Eve 2014 today announced it has gone mobile with a new smartphone application and has expanded its digital presence to include Twitter, Facebook and a newly-redesigned website for its event to be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at 7 p.m. EST at Kleman Plaza in Downtown Tallahassee, Fla. This years Downtown Tallahassee New Years Eve 2014 event presented by Dale Earnhardt Jr. Buick GMC Cadillac and Chevrolet is going to be massive, said Curt Reilly, president of the Downtown Tallahassee Business Association and Downtown Tallahassee New Years Eve 2014. With a band lineup of the Little River Band, Tobacco Rd Band, Royce Lovett, and Colleen Nixon performing Auld Lang Syne, we are excited to expand our digital presence and offer partygoers the ability to download our mobile phone app and take advantage of viewing all of the event details at their fingertips. Downtown Tallahassee New Years Eve 2014 is a free, family friendly event presented by Dale Earnhardt Jr. Buick GMC Cadillac and Chevrolet on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at 7 p.m. EST at Kleman Plaza in Downtown Tallahassee, Fla. The event, which will be emceed by State Representative Alan Williams (D-Tallahassee), features an impressive band lineup of Australian Rock Supergroup Little River Band, Nashville Recording Artist Tobacco Rd Band, Local Winner of the Downtown Tallahassee Music Festival Royce Lovett, and Colleen Nixon performing Auld Lang Syne. Additionally, the event will feature a midnight fireworks show and the Growing Room Kidz Zone from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. with their very own firework display. Stress-free transportation from Governors Square Mall on StarMetro buses will be available or attendees can plan ahead with the Take a Taxi Home program sponsored by Eubanks, Barrett, Fasig & Brooks.
