China will not tolerate the US military buildup in Asia Pacific for supporting regional allies who are in dispute with Beijing over a chain of islands, says investigative journalist Wayne Madsen. The US needs to recognize that China will not tolerate US military presence in its waters just as the United States will not tolerate Chinese naval ships off the coast of Atlantic City in New Jersey, Madsen said in a phone interview with Press TV on Wednesday. Washington and Beijing have been trading barbs since USS Cowpens and a Chinese warship nearly collided in the South China Sea earlier in December. With President Obamas pivot to Asia where he has redirected a lot of US military assets to East Asia, were going to see a lot more confrontations like the one we recently saw between a US Navy cruiser and a Chinese aircraft carrier, Madsen said. In his tour of the region on Monday, Secretary of State John Kerry said that the United States would increase maritime security assistance to Chinas neighbors amid rising tensions with Beijing. The top US diplomat pledged $32.5 million in assistance to help members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations protect their territorial waters in the South China Sea where four states have competing claims with China. Madsen said that US Navy presence increasing in the East China Sea and South China Sea, US defense alliances with two right-wing governments in Japan and South Korea and these naval incidents were a recipe for disaster. Kerry is absolutely right, the /Chinese announcement will not affect American military operations in the South China Sea, however Chinese military forces will. the US idea of full spectrum dominance is so beyond possibility now that the very idea of it seems foolish in retrospect. The US has no business of any kind in the area. The Chinese being as inscrutable as they are were quite happy to simply leave everything as it was. It was the very foolish Japanese who decided to stir the hornet's nest with the public purchase of land rights on the disputed islands. This current standoff in the area is a direct result of that stupidity. Now the US seems to think it has to intervene to protect Japan from its own mistakes. Read my lips, no! China should not just warn. .. take proactive measures like what Iran did on the Straits of Hormuz .... with lots of missiel boats plus other major military assets ready and still building non stop.Actions not words is the only language US understands still thinking their are the Lord of the world. Too many people posting here have too much hope in China being able to defend themselves against USA. China is working for America, they will do nothing and can do nothing when faced against the USA. If USA fails China Fails. China made a mistake in selling their goods for $$$ in the first place. Now they are a pawn of the USA and the Monarch. As much as I am against American Tyrany in the world, I would rahter live under American tyrany than Chinese Power. Russia is the only hope for peace, privacy and respect in the world today. Russia must beware of Chinas double face.. When push comes to shove China WILL turn its back on Russia at the call of the USA.

The threat alone from China to America that it will no longer buy anymore of the US bonds that cover Americas debt (which is out of control anyway) will bring the US down to its knees. The U.S. enjoys pushing its limits, both domestically, and globally. They know over half of the goods we buy on credit are from China, and because of that, it is China who must bend. The problem is, the U.S. is a debt ridden nation and cannot afford much more, and China can only tolerate buying so much of U.S. currency and devaluing its own to keep the U.S. dollar powerful. Maybe China takes its business somewhere else and leaves the U.S. to cry in its debt until it learns a lesson. the US will not bully china,china are not afraid of the US. for a start the US are overstretched plus they are far from home in chinese waters,leaving them prone to attack and defeat. by the time reinfarcements would arrive,there would be nothing to reinforce,then they would suffer a similar fate. so the US will be made to eat their words,one way or another,they will not dominate china like they do with europe. the dumb US are being pushed by "israel"to get WWIII going. they are losing the backing of most of their "allies",add to this all the enemies they have made,and it spells disaster for any attempt to terrorize the world with a global war. amerCIAs days as a super power are over,soon,the best way to describe the new US would be "third world country". Unlike its counterpart the US, China is actually open to diplomatic talks. So like the saying goes if you back a dog into a corner you'll get bitten. The same goes for the US. If it continues to endager the peace and cause instability in the region, for what it is generally known for, then China will push back. The question is how far will they take it and who will lose the nerve first because China can afford an all out war with America, whose resources are bound in the Middle East. As for Russia to place so high a hope in a country that promotes arms deals just as much is kind of biased. In the end no one will win because everyone will be affected. It's a losing battle with no victor, because out of desperation and as a last resort someone might just turn to using nuclear weapons. My advantage and i see this with other Americans as well, is that i went to private school untill i was 15 years old so learned to think on my without without the systematic brain washing .China is caught between a rock and a hard place, the US is their biggest trading partner, so they have to pump trillions of useless paper money into the American economy to keep america afloat, they simply cant afford to let their biggest trading partner go bankrupt.So you see the problem they have? Do not agree. To win , it does not have to be military. Economic is another way . No empire can survive when bankcrupt and wars today are unlike middle ages where a few war ships with canons are enough to conquer bow and arrows carrying nations.Today , USA cannot even defeat the Talibans ...without bleeding heavily for decades to come.China fight through trade with the rest of the world at the same time provide a better life to her huge populations. With extra money they can build anything they want unlike USA they go to the printing press. How long can they print?US as it is today is no match for the Chinese both in mainland and overseas Chinese combined. That is a fact. Militarily neither side can defeat the other.The ONLY issue that China is definitely willing to go to the end game with any country is the disputed Island and Taiwan. The rest of the world's wars... they fight in other ways... trade.
