{Necromancy}

{Lost a Loved One}

First of all, lets define exactly what I mean by necromancy, since there are a lot of different opinions about this rather controversial type of magick. My approach is to engage with the dead, most notably honorable ancestors or honorable spiritual, magickal or occult mentors, seeking communion with such spirits for the purpose of inspiration and guidance. I believe that such an engagement should be performed with utmost respect, veneration and dignity for the targeted deceased.

Necromancy {derived from the Greek {nekros}, meaning "dead," and {manteia}, meaning "divination"} is the evocation of the dead to obtain omens about future events or secret facts. It is also based upon the belief that the deceased, free of physical limits, holds the power to obtain information that is not accessible to the living. Also during the {autumnal equinox} is an excellent time to perform such a ritual, for obvious reasons {it is the time of death}, and the preferable date in our modern era would be around the end of October, during Samhain or All Saints Day, or the Day of the Dead.

But do also include important date's...it is not manditroty to conduct such a ritual on the specific dates I had listed.

Necromancy is a practice that originated in ancient Persia, Greece, and Rome, but was most popular during the Middle Ages, and is rare today. The most common form of necromancy is to summon the spirit by sacrifices and invocations but there is also the less common practice of attempting to raise the corpse to life. The rituals demand meticulous execution and exacting preparations involving the choice of a proper place, for example a cemetery or the ruins of an ancient monastery; the choice of the right time, usually between the hours of midnight and one in the morning; use of specific invocations; and accessories, such as bells. One of the most important elements is the use of a magic circles or squares which protects the necromancer and his/her from being harmed by provoking the dead.

Distant communication has been transformed since ancient times. People can bridge the distance between absent loved ones by picking up a cellular phone, sending e-mail, or boarding a jet that quickly eradicates physical distance. Nevertheless, technology has not improved communication when it is death that separates individuals.

There are many examples of necromancy throughout history, but the best-known necromancer was the witch of Endor, for instance. Often considered a sinister practice, necromancy was condemned by the Catholic Church and was outlawed by the Witchcraft Act of 1604 in Elizabethan England.

This ritual deals with astral and physical forces that can be dangerous if misused or used carelessly. It is important that the magician involved knows his/her own limits first before undertaking this ritual, and must be strong minded and strong willed.

And remember that you are responsible for any outcomes that that also may be unfavorable.

*A Word of Caution:{Spiritual entities of the dead, should not be banished or called for amusement}

There is a way that you can bring back a loved one after death. I wouldn't recommend it, though. Death is final, and cheating it always leads to bad results. But youll want to know anyway. Well, here you go:

*First before you go to the graveyard take a dead sea salt bath and soak for an hour then put on clean all black clothes or a all black cloak.

The bath helps purify your energies and your living space from negative influences and other bad energies that may be effecting your life.

Before entering a cemetery.

Now go to the cemetery that your loved one is buried in under a new moon and this only works for those who've been buried, though {theres probably another method for cremation or something, but I dont know it yet}.

*You'll need 4 black candles {You may want to also bring whats called a hurricane vase/candle holder this will protect the flame from any winds that might be at the cemetery at night its their in order to make sure the black candles do not go out, they must remain lit until your awaken or they go out on their own accord via, till the candle burns out by its self}

*A Silver Chalice.

*Red wine {Of your liking}

**Also a fixed date of the ritual must be placed; this can be the birthday, or a very important date of the deceased~ a date that the deceased could never forget.

*You will also need whats called {Wormwood} for it has long had a connection with the spirit forces. Historically, it has been used for summoning the spirits of the dead since as early as the ancient Greeks. For this purpose it was burned on a fire of privet, the wood chosen for use in funeral pyres, as it was also used to opened the doors to the underworld.

It has also the power to summon the spirits of the dead, it should be finely ground and burned on charcoal as an incense. Wormwood can be used either to summon a spirit into a medium, or to summon a spirit into visible appearance.

*As well as you will also need Dragons blood incense, the resin product only, in which you will burn at the opposite end of the grave/tombstone opposite the wormwood witch lies at the foot, so the dragons blood will be burnt at the head of the grave.

* A sword preferably, or an athame whatever you prefer or have worked with the most and, have it also empowered first before you begin.

*Now draw out in the dirt your {own} sigils that are personal unto you and your deceased surrounding the perimeter of your loved one's grave with your {sword} or an athame, also draw out a square surrounding the grave..the sigils will be placed within the square.

* You will now after you have drawn out the sigils within, place the four black candles at each point of the {four} corners of the perimeter of the grave/tombstone.{The diagram should be 9 by 9 feet length times width}

*Finally, the most important component of this rite {in my opinion} is the linkage between the seeker and the deceased person that he or she wishes to contact. A suitable and specific target for the rite must be established before it is even attempted. It is better if that target is a blood relative or a departed member of ones family, but spiritual kinship can also be used as a link to the ghost of the departed. Seekers should have something that helps them to identify and also connect with the deceased, such as old belongings or a prized possession. Still, a single photograph of the deceased can be sufficient to act as the focus of a necromantic rite. A photograph and other items should be treated as if they were aspects of the deceased - in other words,

one should address petitions and other exhortations to the picture or belongings as if they were that person. This may require some meditation and even some trance work in advance to assist one in making this crucial mental connection.

My opinion is that a necromantic rite cant be seen as a completely objective means of summoning and materializing the ghosts of the departed. It requires the strong association and bond between the seeker and the deceased, so what does manifest is mostly in the mind and soul of the living person and only partially associated with the deceased. What this means is that the degree of success of this rite has a lot to do with the strength of the bond between the living seeker, the deceased ancestor.Another objection that could be made is that necromancy is nothing more than a ritually conflated form of channeling or performing a seance. One could argue that using elaborate rituals to commune or communicate with the dead is completely unnecessary, since simpler forms of divination or psychic communication are all that is required. However, necromancy has a verifiable historical precedence and an antique pedigree that has continued to make it an item of interest and engagement throughout the centuries. For every occult methodology there are probably a multitude of ways to accomplish the same exact end, so whichever one we choose represents how we believe, function and accomplish our ends within the various occult disciplines.

If one is a reputed psychic or master diviner, then that will be the methodology that one would employ to communicate with the dead; yet if one is a ritual magician, then perhaps a ritual working might be used instead. Still, a necromantic rite causes the seeker, the guide and attendees to be completely immersed into a kind of temporary mystery temple of death, where they not only commune with the targeted shade of the deceased, but also experience a transformative insight into the nature of life itself. Through a manifestation of this mystery, participants learn first hand what might transpire for anyone after their own death.

Allow me to continue with the ritual at hand here.

*Now also make sure that you take one material object that is most important to you with you. The emotion from this object, this sacrifice, will provide your power.

*Also collect memorials of the deceased you wish to conjure {trinkets, things they loved, and belongings you will also need a picture of your loved one and place it next to the head of the grave/tomb and {nail} it into the earth at the head of the grave right below the Dragons blood incense with only a single nail, but do not nail the picture in the center place the nail at the top of the picture}

*Now take it {The personal item} to the grave/tombstone of your loved one and bury it over their grave. You dont have to go very far down, so dont worry about running into the slab or anything.

*Before you cover up the hole with your objects, dont forget to add 6 drops of your blood to it. This imbues

the ritual with your own life essence and...draws them in.

Then comes the final steps. Take a small handful of dirt from where you buried your object and swallow it chasing it down with a chalice of red wine as this is may be disgusting, but necessary. This creates the link between you and where you need to go,... yes you.

*Call upon the spirit of your deceased. The rite gives the following: {Colpriziana, offina alta nestra, fuaro menut, I {your name ..} call to the my dead loved one of which I seek to contact on this night, for thou art the dead that I seek.

Spirit of {Name of loved one...} you may now approach this gate, that witch I have drawn between gate of the living and the gate of the dead and answer truly to my calling on this night, night of all nights O here me!

*Now recite the invocation to the dead: AUDIRE ME ANTQIQUUS MORTUS BENEVOLENS! TE DARE LUMEN ET ORATIO AD CURARE! DARE ME TUS SACER CUSTODIA ET TUS POTENS. DARE ME SAPIENTIA AD DARE AUXILIO AD MUNDUS MEUS. TE CURARE CUM DECEM NOMENS DE DEUS PATER DE OMNIS VIVUS ET OMNIS MORTUS.

CUM POTESTAS DE ASTERIA, HEKATE ET PERSES! CON EL PODER DE OYA, YEWA Y OBBA! TE DOMINARE MALUM MORTUS. CUM LINGUA DE MORTUS TE DOMINARE. CUM DECEM NOMENS DE DEUS PATER DE OMNIS VIVUS ET PATER DE OMNIS MORTUS TE SUBJUGARE RESURRECTIONE

* So it has been done!

* After that, get yourself as comfy as you can and {fall asleep} upon the grave~ *Warning* ~{This will take your soul into another demention, a place where the dead dwell}

If everything was done correctly, youll awaken {astrally} to find yourself standing at the gate/front of the graveyard. It will be dim, foggy, and youll notice a lack of color in this drab place. Youll also see that there seem to be people wandering around the gravestones. Exactly how many and what theyll look like will depend on the cemetery you went to, but I've never heard of a location not having at least a few dozen of them wandering around, besides other beings.

Whatever you do, stay away from them. {These are the shades, and unless you have conducted a shade ritual to bind the shade within yourself and become one with them, or have a connection to them, and a mutual agreement/understanding with them I'm warning you of the dangers now}~{I have in my writtings stored, as whats called a {Shade Ritual} in which I shall post someother time}~of those left behind from failed rituals or weak spirits drawn from the surrounding areas to the power of your blood and object. Even if you recognize some of them, do not go near them. Theyre little more than instinct now and desire one thing above all else: life.

They want another chance to live and crave nothing more, even if the shades mind is so far gone that it doesn't even recall why. And if one catches you, it WILL try to steal that life away from you, and drain you weak and lifeless, pulling energy from you till you fall to the ground! {Unless you are adept, and skilled naturally as a energy manipulator} You won't know what hit you.

They may notice you, they may not. If they do, evade them, after all you are not here for them but to seek out your deceased, avoid them and look for your loved one. The person may be at their grave or wandering the walkway, you may also feel their energy resonating...calling to you. You may even find them hiding, terrified of the scene before them.

When you finally see your loved one, stop. Dont go near them yet. Call out the persons name and wait. If the response seems genuine, {Trust your instincts} everything is going as plan. If the response is delayed, quiet, distant, or not even present, then hold on. Ask, from a distance, what was the one thing the person hated in life. As these shades progress and their minds dwindle to nothing, some of the first things to go are the memories of the things they hated in life. Any bad memory that makes life seem terrible would slip away to be replaced by that deep desire to return to the living. If your loved ones answer seems legitimate, take their hand and pray that you weren't wrong. If you are, you may find yourself as a replacement shade wandering this foggy graveyard.

Be aware their hand will be cold. Freezing. Like grasping solid ice; but never let go. Even if your hand starts going numb and your fingers turn black, do not let go!

After feeling that rush of life touching their hand and immediately losing it moments later, your loved one may not be able to resist the urge to take it all from you.

Take your loved one back to the gate, avoiding other shades as you can. More may notice you now as your living body is connected to their realm via your lost loved one. Be quick, be decisive, and DO NOT let go of your loved ones hand, this is now a good time to communicate, once you have conjured the deceased, ask any questions you may have for that particular person. {Remember, you should treat the deceased with respect, lest you have undesirable consequences}

And {Telepathy is most likely used or they may communicate by other means that's between you and your loved one, its a personal} with your loved one, for their won't be too much time, that you can safely be in this state...between worlds.

This is now where you will leave the world of the dead and return to the world of the living.

When you wish to end the session, address your loved one {the spirit} with the following:

Go now and depart by Omgroma Sayoc, Satony, Degony, Eparigon, Galiganon, Zogogen, Ferstigon. I now return thee O beloved blood, to depart unto thy proper resting place and be there at peace forevermore.

*So it has been done.

*You should now step through the gate {the gate is acting as a porthole or a doorway into the realm of the dead} of the cemetery, where youll find yourself back in the living world laying back down upon the grave, you will slowly come to once more and you will be able to recall upon awakening all that took place but you will feel slightly drained and cold and "very emotional" one could even be brought to instant tears, as this is what happens when one crosses over for a moments time.

{Thee End}

*{Now close ritual by properly clean up your ritual area}

And anything that might have remained, as evidence for these this I believe not to be legal~{Meaning rituals in a graveyard}
