Comprehensive scanning
Today versatile scanning is indispensable for busy offices, as it streamlines the distribution and sharing of information. The bizhub C203s generous scanning functionality includes scan to eMail, FTP , SMB and user box; available scan formats are multi-page PDF or XPS, JPG and TIFF. In addition Konica Minoltas unique ultra-compact PDF feature considerably reduces the size of large files before transmission much improving the efficiency of internal and external communication.

Advanced faxing
For a device of its class the bizhub C203 offers an impressive fax functionality. This includes Digital Fax and Digital Store, with a choice of forward as eMail, save-to-box, save-to-PC. Internet Fax enables the sending and receipt of fax data as e-mail attachments. IP Fax lets users send faxes in colour to other bizhub devices on the Intranet. Various security features make confidential fax communication reliably safe. And where necessary, a conventional fax kit option can be connected for the transmission and receipt of paper originals. The bizhub C203 can store up to 2,100 addresses in its own address book, and with LDAP support offers convenient direct access to the companys eMail database.

Communicative all-round printing

Printed documentation is important for communication. The bizhub C203s comprehensive functionality makes communicative printing a breeze! Its printing specialities include a clever poster mode to create giant displays on up to 16 A3 sheets, as well as a practical image overlay function. An ingenious banner printing function facilitates the creation of e.g. display materials or project plans oversized formats of up to 1.2 metres length can be produced quickly and with ease. Thanks to a special b/w mode, printing is still possible even if the colour toner is depleted. To make the printing of samples or document drafts more economic, the bizhub C203 is equipped with a clever 50% toner-save mode that much increases cost efficiency. The bizhub C203 is impressively flexible with a wealth of modular finishing choices. Its genius finishing capabilities help increase user creativity and make the bizhub C203 the perfect device for professional written communication. Four-hole punching is available with a punching kit. Upgraded with the booklet option the finisher can produce centre-stapled booklets. Alternatively a mailbin unit can be connected, for example to separate output by users. For less complex requirements a job separator tray offers a welcome alternative to separate e.g. prints from faxes. The bizhub C203s productive printing performance is enhanced with a range of automatic functions further supporting efficient communication: With auto-colour recognition colour is reliably printed only where required. Automatic paper selection avoids misprints on the wrong format. Automatic paper rotation ensures completion of a job even if the required paper size in the correct orientation is no longer available. With auto zoom large A3 originals like flow charts, project plans and similar, are conveniently downsized to A4 for filing or vice versa and of course all fully automatic!
