Youth Apostolate of Fatima

The Youth Apostolate of Fatima this year will be conducting some activities that will enhance and cultivate love
and loyalty not only in YAF but also to the Parish as well. We will make these activities possible so that the
Parish would somehow see the organization to be actively participating not just on the religious aspect but also
for the enhancement or improvement of well-being of each and every one of the members.

And because of that, I would to suggest the following activities to be done and somehow be a regular activity
for the organization.

I would like to suggest that every month; there would be a team building activity that will run for about 2-3
hours only. It would be much better if it will be done on any Sunday of each month. This team building
activities will be based on the different themes. And I would like also to suggest the following themes for the
team building:

• January – Simplicity / PDOME

• February – Love / Selflessness
• March – Excellence / Success
• April – Repentance / Reconciliation
• May – Faithfulness / Fear of God
• June – Respect / Loyalty
• July – Humility / Caring for one self and others
• August – Humbleness / Leadership
• September – Happiness / Sacrifice
• October – Obedience / Responsibility
• November – Teamwork / Cooperation
• December – Generosity / Social awareness

In this teambuilding, there must be activities or games that would relate to the following themes. Also there
would be some discussions about the theme to further improve the welfare of the members. Finally, there would
be some member sharing about the said theme so that there would be a bond among members.

Next suggestion, in every quarter of the year, there would be an income-generating activity. This income-
generating activity would help the YAF’s fund to somehow grow. These funds that the YAF will be getting will
be kept for the future activities of YAF.

The income –generating activities that I suggest are the following:

• 1st Quarter – Love / Freedom / Prayer Intention Wall

• 2nd Quarter – Religious Items Guessing game
• 3rd Quarter – Ukay-Ukay
• 4th Quarter - Bible Trivia

To have the following income-generating activities possible, the members should gave an amount of P5.00
every meeting so that it would be one of the sources of funds for these said activities. These activities will run
for a month so that all individuals can participate with these activities. The members will decide to when,
where, and what time they will execute these activities.
Next, I would like to propose that for the month of July, they would be a Seminar about the basic facts about
YAF, WAF, and Fatima Parish. Because we observed that during the month of June, there are a lot of youth who
are joining the YAF. And for them to gain knowledge about the organization, they should know the all the
information and facts about the organization. So I would like to propose to have this seminar.

Also, I would to propose these activities if it would be possible:

• Film Showing (life of Our Lady of Fatima)
• Open forums
• Bonding sessions
• Reunion with the past members and the recent members of YAF

Also I would like to suggest that if it is possible to have a small bulletin board for the YAF inside the vicinity of
the parish so that we could posts our daily activities, accomplishments, officers and members, facts about the
organization, and somehow the pictures from our past activities. It would be a source of campaign that the YAF
is still active and progressing. Also it would be an encouragement or advertising for the other youth to join our
organization.

May these suggestions will be lifted up so that the YAF will be recognize more and so that the organization will
grow and develop throughout the years.
