    Job Advertisement: Project Manager. Description and Position Summary: Norwegian Humanitarian Enterprise (NHE) was established in February 1996 with the objective of meeting and responding to the humanitarian needs of individuals and local communities in co-operation with local and national authorities through a program that would respect the Azerbaijani cultural and religious traditions. Through over 45 completed or on-going humanitarian projects, representing a total financial input of approximately eleven million US dollars, NHE has sought to meet the needs of individuals and communities, as well as public and private institutions throughout Azerbaijan. NHE’s “Children’s Home project” was established in 2000. Shagan institution is state’s residence for 150 severely mentally and physically disabled children between age of 5 to 25 years. Project’s aim is to support and develop Children home’s social and health care program as well as support selected children to develop physically and mentally. The project team consist of local and foreign volunteers and staff workers. The project team visits institution 3 times in a week. During these visits team provide children with small group activities and individual therapy for physical, social and emotional needs like Music group, active learning, Gross and fine motoric groups, Sign language, Theraplay therapy, etc. NHE also provide to children with extra nutrition, clothing, medical support and different equipment. The Children’s Home project Manager is responsible for the implementation of all activities within the project and act according to project plans. Program Manager will oversee the project and immediate superior for project members.
