REDUCE the amount of energy you use, this will save burning fossil fuels and reduce carbon emissions also avoid making unnecessary waste. E.g. turn lights off, buy goods with the least amount of packaging. REUSE is better than recycling because when something is recycled it takes a lot of energy to turn it into something new. REPAIR get things fixed instead of buying new. E.g. shoes

RECYCLE where waste cannot be reused, recycle as much a possible
