ogbo@ogboawokeogbo.com For verily I say unto you, That WHOSOEVER shall say unto this mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass; he shall have WHATSOEVER he said. ~ Mark 11:23 KJV, capitalization mine My friends, this is a whosoever whatsoever universe! How soon can you get used to that? No one imposed a FIXED destiny upon you. No one forced your present condition upon you. True, Nigeria is a crazy country governed largely by escapee psychiatric patients, no doubt. BUT that does not change anything. If you die a failure, you die solely responsible. You, not your State governor, will do the explaining to God why you wasted your UNLIMITED opportunities on earth and bungled His purposes for you. Just you. Whatsoever occurs 167 times and Whosoever 511 times in the Scripture! Two or three witnesses are enough but here are 511 iterations. The Bible is a Whosoever Book - Jews and Gentiles, rich and poor, peasant and aristocrat, high and low, man and woman, religious and pagan, educated and ignorant... GRACE so amazing! No one is rejected by God. Any reject is self made; Saul, for instance. No man is specially favored over another; any favorite with God is self made; David, for example. Its a whosoever whatsoever game in a whosoever whatsoever universe. So, your excuse (no education, no money, no sponsor, not from a rich family, no job, no whatever...) for a SELF IMPOSED PEDESTRIAN EXISTENCE might sound nice to your ears now. But the day you stand before the One Who Sits upon the Throne, those excuses will be as useless as rat poop in a womans makeup kit. ... Consider my testimony, probably similar to yours - no royal birth, no paparazzi at the Presbyterian Joint Hospital, Uburu where Mom gave me birth, no inheritance, no money in the bank.... But I received the FINEST GIFT any baby on earth could get: wise, committed and loving parents! 12/31/13 1:22 AM

Dad and Mom were whosoever-whatsoever parents. Everyday, they told me, Son, you can be anything you want to be and achieve anything you want to achieve. Theres nothing standing in your way. ... I schooled with rich kids. Each time I went back to boarding house, Mom said, Onyibe, when you get there, you will see diverse delicacies and luxuries with other children. Be contented with what you have; dont envy and dont beg. If you work hard, whatever you dont have today you will get tomorrow. She would pack garri, St. Louis sugar and Cabin biscuits (those biscuits made of plywood!) in my akpati (metal box). The rich kids had exotic bags filled with mouth-watering chocolates, fine biscuits and other exotic provision. Some spoke American English. They would speak about their holidays in London, New York, Disney Florida, Paris, etc, The farthest I had traveled from my village was to school in another village. So I used to listen to them completely mesmerized! ... But then my Mom and Dad were right: Today, New York and London are right in my backyard. == You Can Have Multiple Lifetimes in One == Each time my children fill an application form, they and I struggle with the Fathers Occupation column. It happened yesterday evening, Dad, whats your occupation? And I stall. Neither they nor I know my occupation. Theyve watched me transform into many things. They may fill Motivational Speaker today and wake up the next day to hear that I am now a lawyer. I have been a Zoologist, private home teacher, Printer, Salesman, Social Worker, Missionary, Surveyor, Oil and Gas GIS and Remote Sensing Specialist, broadcaster, writer, motivational speaker, executive coach, Sunday School teacher, and counting, in one lifetime. People are always baffled, Why did you leave Shell? If I dont like what I do I change it! And you may rightly ask, Why not just be just one thing? Because it is a whosoever-whatsoever universe! By the way, I only do one thing at a time... mindfulness. ... Forget FATALISM - que sera sera my foot! If you neglect your toddler and he crawls under your bed and touches an exposed electric wire and becomes electrocuted, please dont tell me, It was Gods will. Admit

your negligence, forgive yourself, move on, and dont repeat that mistake with your next baby. I am currently re-reading my Shakespeare collection. Julius Caesar is packed with incredible insight. The wily Cassius told Brutus: Men at some time are master of their fate, the fault dear Brutus is not with the stars, but in ourselves. Thats very Scriptural! == The Albatross of Africa == ... The albatross of the western world is their over-intellect while the albatross of the African is his superstition and over-spiritualization of nature. But there is some ASTONISHING BALANCE between intellect and spiritualism in the ancestral wisdom of my village. ... In my village, eons before the pesky British colonists messed up the soul of our culture, my ancestors taught us whenever we confronted an impossible task to chant, Ive nnyiri anyi nyiri mmaa! With that intoxicatingly powerful mantra, we lifted hefty logs that blocked the bush path after a tropical storm, we captured straying wild animals with bare hands so they dont harm women and children in the village, we completed in one day farm tasks that would have taken three, and accomplished many other heroic things that would make science and engineering blush. Ive nnyiri anyi nyiri mmaa! Oh, what does it mean? Sorry... It means, If we cant do it, the gods cant do it! ... The universe is our Fathers but the earth is our territory. It is useless to wait for the gods to do for you what God already gave you the mandate to do: The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind. [Psalm 115:16] ... At about the same time in the early 70s, after the Biafran genocide, my father taught us the following hymn (Onye Nke Kwere - Whosoever Will) at the Presbyterian Church, Amenu Okposi - our early family church. It gripped my young mind that anyone can rise to any degree to which he or she wishes to believe God! Whosoever heareth, shout, shout the sound! Spread the blessd tidings all the world around; Spread the joyful news wherever man is found;

Whosoever will may come. Whosoever will, whosoever will, Send the proclamation over vale and hill; Tis a loving Father, calls the wanderer home: Whosoever will, may come. Whosoever cometh need not delay, Now the door is open, enter while you may; Jesus is the true, the only Living Way; Whosoever will may come. Whosoever will, the promise secure, Whosoever will, forever must endure; Whosoever will, tis life forevermore: Whosoever will may come. ~ Philip P. Bliss (1838 - 1876) You hold a whosoever-whatsoever license in your hands. Yet many people have made a career of criticizing, gossiping and envying others who are becoming their own whosoever whatsoever. Too many youth have made a career of CELEBRITY GOSSIP, licentiously engrossed in other peoples drama at the expense of their own destinies. What are you going to do with your whosoever-whatsoever license? Blame ASUU and the government? Watch hours upon hours of Africa Magic and Nollywood videos? Get rich quick (hammer) by any means? Promiscuity? Crime? Ignorance? Are you going to spend the rest of your life making excuses, blaming and envying successful people for your embarrassingly low life? God forbid! ... Use your whosoever whatsoever license! You can be rich; you can be poor. You can get a PhD or stay at home. You can keep looking for a job or start a new business. You can have a happy marriage or a miserable one. You can lose weight or gain it. You can choose Christ, or any of His numerous alternatives. Whosoever whatsoever!

Have a great week ahead. I love you. Be healthy, wealthy and wise.
