SGX-Listed Communication Design International

Signs Framework Agreement To Fit Out Outlets Of
Leading European Bank, Raiffeisen International
4 September 2009, SINGAPORE – Singapore Exchange (“SGX) listed international marketing
and communications company, Communication Design International Ltd (“CDI” or “the
Group”), announced today that it has signed a framework agreement with Raiffeisen
International Bank-Holding AG (“Raiffeisen International”) to provide fit-out services to its
branches in Central and Eastern Europe.

This development is another feather in the cap for the Singapore grown company which in the
past, has created outstanding themescapes and themed environments for leading European
brands including Swarovski and luxury cars like Aston Martin and Jaguar.

Pursuant to the agreement, CDI will manage the entire rollout of Vienna-headquartered and
listed Raiffeisen International’s multiple-country branch branding including supply and
installation over a three year period commencing immediately.

The contract is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s earnings from the financial year
ending 30 June 2010 (“FY2010”) till FY2012.

Commenting on the prestigious win, Mr David Bay, CDI’s Chief Executive Officer and Executive
Director said, “We are delighted to be selected by Raiffeisen International to manage their
branding roll-out. This landmark agreement affirms our capabilities as a fit-out specialist which
can help win appeal to end consumers across geographies.”

“We are particularly excited by this contract because by its multiple country nature this unique
implementation is a further testimony to our strength in handling large-scale indoor projects
across multiple geographies,” he added.

According to industry experts, the global economic has been creating immense pressure on
banks to cut costs while improving efficiency. Like retailers, bankers in emerging markets are
beginning to transform traditional branches into attractive "stores" that sell products that are
packaged and priced to appeal to the customer segments they are best able to serve.
