WHAT IS EASYCAST?
EasyCast is a reactive clear casting epoxy. It's solvent free and low odor. It can easily e colored! tinted or co" ined wit# fillers to create fa$x granite or "etallic castings. TOOLS NEEDED
+lastic "eas$re - "ixing c$ps 'do not $se wax coated c$ps as t#e wax "ay rea% off and conta"inate yo$r "ix(. Wood stir stic%s )isposa le craft r$s#es Wax paper or plastic s#eet to protect wor% s$rface.

MOLDS
+olypropylene or polyet#ylene resin "olds are designed for $se wit# +olyester Casting ,esin or Clear Casting Epoxy d$e to t#eir self releasing c#aracteristics. ,$ er "olds "ade fro" latex! $ret#ane or silicone can e $sed if treated wit# Castin'Craft .old ,elease Conditioner. WA,/I/01 )$e to t#e strong onding properties of EasyCast! only $se plastic "olds designed for resin casting. 2t#er "olds s$c# as candy! soap or candle "olds are generally not $sea le even wit# a good "old release. If yo$'re not s$re! test a spot on t#e "old! s$c# as t#e ac% side.

MOLD PREPARATION

After two f$ll "in$tes of "ixing! po$r t#e contents fro" t#e first container into a second container. 6sing a new stir stic%! "ix t#e contents of t#is second container anot#er "in$te! again scraping sides of container and stir stic%. +o$r i""ediately fro" t#is second container. (. However adding fillers s$c# as granite or "etallic powders can res$lt in a clo$dy! $ le filled "ixt$re. T#ese $ les will slowly rise to t#e s$rface of yo$r cast. FAU# MAR"LE: *a$x "ar le is easily created wit# t#e addition of @ or "ore contrasting colors of Castin'Craft 2pa5$e +ig"ents. Experi"enting wit# t#e following process will ena le yo$ to perfect color co" inations and "ar ling tec#ni5$es. So"e color co" inations to consider are1 0reen .ar le! $se green! w#ite H to$c# of lac%. W#ite .ar le! $se w#ite wit# a to$c# of lac%. Arown .ar le! $se rown! w#ite and a to$c# of lac%. +in% .ar le! $se pin% 'red lended wit# w#ite(! w#ite and a to$c# of gray 'w#ite lended wit# lac%(. 3. .ix EasyCast per pac%age instr$ctions. 7. )ivide "ixed EasyCast into t#ree containers. @. Add a single color to eac# container and lend. /2TE1 Add I$st eno$g# pig"ent to color "ix and no "ore? >. +o$r all t#ree colored "ixes into one container. Stir lig#tly once or twice to swirl colors toget#er! t#en i""ediately po$r into "old. TI+1 Avoid over "ixing w#ic# can "$ddy colors. 3. .ix EasyCast per pac%age instr$ctions. 7. Add transparent dye to "ixed EasyCast! approxi"ately one drop of dye per o$nce of EasyCast. Fess or "ore can e $sed for varying s#ades. )ye colors can e lended to create additional colors. @. Alend! t#en i""ediately po$r into "old. 3. .ix EasyCast per pac%age instr$ctions. 7. Add "etallic powder to "ixed EasyCast! approxi"ately J teaspoon per ; o$nces. Fess or "ore can e $sed for varying effects. @. .ix well to ens$re all powder is lended! t#en i""ediately po$r into "old. C$sto" colors or "ar ling can e created y co" ining Stone *illers. Stone *illers appear w#ite $t c#ange color i""ediately w#en EasyCast is added. TI+1 Adding "ore Stone *iller will give yo$ a stronger "ore dense granite effect. Wood pieces can e sealed wit# EasyCast or w#ite craft gl$e! #owever t#is "$st e done and c$red efore e" edding to prevent air fro" escaping fro" t#e wood piece! w#ic# will in t$rn create $ les in yo$r casting. Solid non poro$s o Iects s$c# as seas#ells! coins! stone! plastic! etc.! do not re5$ire a seal coat. If yo$'re not s$re! test a sa"ple piece first.
