Application The printcom uv lamp 101Z is a high-performance mercury (Hg) medium pressure emitter for curing UV inks, UV varnishes and UV coatings. It is used in ROLAND 700 interdeck and end driers SelectDryer UV (formerly SeccoMatic UV) and all Eltosch units with LGR modules constructed in the same way. The printcom uv lamp 101Z has an arc length of 1,080 mm and yields 160 W/cm. The actual lamp power depends on the ballast the printcom uv lamp 101Z is being operated on. By changing the lamp current supplier apploval provided a lamp power different from the one stated above can be acheived. A reliable operation of the printcom uv lamp 101Z is only guaranteed in specially adapted modules. The appropriate installation can therefore only be made by the respective module manufacturer.
