Dynamic Marriage
Sundays, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Give us 8 weeks and well give you that Dynamic Marriage! This is a powerful, marriage enrichment course that creates real and lasting change. Must be prepared to spend up to an hour nightly in reading and homework. Register your interest and then attend a required 1-hour Information and Orientation Session on one of the following dates: Sunday, March 9 from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 from 7 to 8 p.m. or Sudnay, March 16 from 4 to 5 p.m. Classes will start on Sunday, March 30 at 4 p.m. Couple fee is $175 - includes all materials. Limited scholarships are available. Space is limited to 12 couples per class. Childcare will be available for orientation and class sessions upon request.

Bad Girls of the Bible


Tuesdays 10 a.m. - Noon
A look at the vamps and tramps of the Bible, searching for the lessons these wicked women have to teach. Ten of the Bibles best-known femmes fatales - Eve, Potiphars wife, Delilah, Lots wife, Michal, Sapphira, Jezebel, Woman at the Well, Rahab, and the Sinful Woman.This book is laced with humor, solid research, and heartfelt self-disclosure that helps women of all ages experience Gods grace anew. Cost: $10 for workbook. This 10-week study will start on Tuesday, January 6th.

Journey 101
Journey 101: Knowing, Loving, Serving God is a three-part basic faith course that helps to answer essential questions as it guides participants on the journey of growing as a Christian. The goal? Becoming a deeply committed follower of Jesus Christ. The three studies are grounded in 15 core traits of a deeply committed Christian--traits that paint a picture of what it looks like to follow Jesus Christ with increasing passion and dedication. We will be offering all 3 parts in the Winter / Summer sessions with the option of morning and evening classes. The 3-part program is flexible, so you can take the 3 studies in any order. The participant guides are $13 each, or $33 for the set of 3. If you plan on taking all 3 sessions, please indicate so on the registration form, so we will order you a complete set of books. Please also indicate if you will take the morning or evening session. Dates that the classes will be offered are: Walking with God Tuesdays at 7 p.m. February 18 - March 25 Loving God Tuesdays at 7 p.m. April 22 - May 27 Serving God Tuesdays at 7 p.m. June 3 - July 8

This 10-week Biblical Financial Study teaches more than practical financial principles - it teaches us about the Biblical roots of every aspect of our lives in which we have dealings with money: our work lives, our family life, church life, and retirement as well as our personal feelings of honesty, contentment and eternity. Great follow-up for Financial Peace graduates. Cost: $45 per individual or $55 per couple. Free Preview - Tuesday, March 11 at 7 p.m. Class starts on Tuesday, March 25.

Crown Financial

Join Pastor Shane as he continues the study of the New Testament, taking up where Pastor Phillip left off in the fall session. This study invites Christians to study afresh the story of Jesus to learn more about their calling to discipleship and to community. You will have daily readings to do at home and weekly class discussions. The workbook is the same one as for Part I. Cost of workbook is $13.00. Class starts Wednesday, January 8th.

Tuesdays 7 - 9 p.m.
Most people live in a cacophony of voices demanding attentionfrom work and family to telemarketers and movie myths-voices inside and outside all saying , do this! Hebrews invites each reader to listen to God. More specifically, everyone should listen to Gods ultimate messenger, Jesus. This study invites readers to do just that and prepares them to hear with an open heart. Cost: $10 for workbook. Starting Tuesday, January 7th for 6 weeks.

Simply Relevant: Savor the Moments


Wednesdays 10 a.m. - Noon

Savor the Moments is about a topic that all women can relate to--the challenge of savoring the moment, when life is so busy! Women will discover and grow in the Fruit of the Spirit as they find patience in places they may never have expected--like lines at the grocery store, traffic jams relationships and more. Starts Wednesday, February 5th for 6 weeks. The cost of the workbook is $10.00

This is a class for newcomers and those interested in becoming members at Harrison UMC. It is a 5-week class that will provide information about Methodist history and theology. You will also learn about the many ministries that take place at Harrison UMC and meet some of the ministry leaders and our pastors. We will give you information about discipleship opportunities available at Harrison. You will have the chance to take a Spiritual Gifts inventory and discover where you are best gifted to serve. The best part of this class, however, is meeting other people at Harrison!
