Put everything aside for just a moment .

Forget what makes you mad; what makes you happy; and what confuses you. Dont think of me , the church or even your family. For just a moment reflect on the birth of the Christ Child. Think about the announcement, the young virgin Mary, Joseph the carpenter and all the others associated with the Christmas narrative. Think about it and reflect on the impact that Birth had in your life. Think about what it means for God to love us so much that He sent His Son to die for us. Think about it and see if it doesnt make you glad. Merry Christmas is not just a greeting, it is a message. A message that I have found the Lord and regardless of my circumstances I can rejoice in Him. It is a message of hope, joy and perseverance. Merry CHRISTmas! During this time of the year, in fact, all year long, put Christ at the center of your life and celebrations. I sincerely wish for each of you a very Merry Christmas and a powerful New Year. Merry Christmas from my family to yours. Paul *************************************************

SAINTS ALIVE Well be sharing in the Carol Sing this Sunday evening, so please meet in the Choir Room at 6:00 to rehearse. Wear your green choir shirts if the weather permits. Our 3 concerts for the wonderful folks at Memorial Manor & Riverside Place went very well. Thanks to each of you who were able to share the love of Christ with our friends and neighbors. It was great to see former members of the Saints Alive Choir who are residents at these facilities. Merita Rowan, a former member and President of our choir was especially pleased to have us come again this year. She sends her love to each member of FBC.

Christmas at The Rivers Thursday, December 19 4-6 pm

I'm in great need of some adult help! This event, although led by youth, is a great opportunity to serve others and share Christ as a family. Please consider helping serve the meal or playing with the kids as a way to be a family that is sharing Jesus together. Children learn by example. And their most important example, besides Jesus, is you, the parent.
