Q : Why did you introduce the 5 Year Warranty? A : The 5 year warranty is a measure of our condence in the quality and reliability of all our vehicles. Its also a measure of the value we place on maintaining long term relationship with our customers. We want to ensure that once you've chosen a Peugeot, you just enjoy the drive and well take care of the rest. Q : Is this a manufacturer warranty for the whole 5 years? A : Peugeot offers a 3 year or 100,000km warranty. However, we at Nasim Sdn Bhd have further backed this with an extended warranty plan of 2 years, and removed the cap for mileage. Hence your new warranty is 5 years with unlimited mileage. Rest assured, a customer claiming in year 1 will go through the same process that he or she would in year 4 & 5.

Q : Is it really unlimited mileage? Are there any restrictions? A : Yes, the mileage is unlimited. Provided your claim is within the warranty period of 5 years and all terms and conditions are fullled. Q : Something is faulty on my vehicle. Is it covered under warranty? A : Please contact the nearest authorised Peugeot Service Centre for an appointment. They will inspect your vehicle to conrm if the fault is covered under warranty. Q : Are wear and tear items included? A : The warranty is a comprehensive cover for manufacturing defects, excluding wear and tear. Q : Is the warranty transferable? A : Yes, provided the vehicle is within the 5 year coverage period at the time of the sale. The remaining coverage is transferred to the new owner. However, this is subject to all servicing schedules having been carried out at the recommended intervals. The warranty follows the vehicle, not the owner. Q : Do I have to service my Peugeot at authorised Peugeot Service Centres? A : Yes. The warranty terms & conditions states that the vehicle must be serviced and repaired by the standards set by Peugeot. Vehicles must also be serviced in accordance with specied service schedules. Failure to adhere to the above will or may result in your vehicles warranty being null and void. Q : I have missed one of my scheduled services. What happens now? A : If the service is not carried out in accordance to the service schedule, the vehicles warranty will be deemed null and void.

OUR WARRANTY PROGRAMME


All mechanical and electrical components of the vehicle that were manufacturers original tments and covered under the Manufacturers Warranty except for those listed below: Routine maintenance , periodical checks and adjustments as well as normal consumable items such as oil, air and fuel lter. The replacement of parts subject to normal wear and tear (tyres, spark plugs, wiper blades, HT leads, lters, lights and bulbs, fuses and relays, belts, wiring looms, glow plugs,shock absorbers) All body work and trim, seat belts, glass, sunroof panels, fuel tank, wheels and tyres, brake facings and seized calipers.

Airbags (although Airbag sensors are covered). Exhaust system, brackets, hoses, water ingress, pipes, cables and leaking or worn out seals and cylinders. Battery, wire harnesses, In-car entertainment , navigation and communication system,accessories, audio system. NGV conversions. Components which have failed as a result of correct oil levels not being maintained. Failure due to wear and tear. Expenses not specically provided for in the warranty especially as a consequence of the vehicle being undriveable, e.g. loss of use, income and any form of depreciation.
