Legal -------------------------------------------------------------------INTRODUCTION: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 1.1 General Introduction The lessons on this interactive tutor have been designed and created by Oxford Aviation Training. 1.2 Strongly Recommended It is strongly recommended that you close any programs running in Windows before you run the CD. This will increase performance. 1.3 Quitting and the Escape key To quit use the quit buttons within the program. This will return you to the main menu. You can quit directly to Windows by pressing the escape key. 1.4 What file to open The CD should autorun when you put it into your CD drive. If it does not then either: i) Click on 'Run' in the 'Start' menu. Type in "D:\Run.exe" where "D" is your CD-Rom letter. ii) View the CD-Rom contents in Explorer and double-click on Run.exe. -------------------------------------------------------------------Installation: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 2.1 Installation

Please note, it is not necessary for the contents of this CD to be installed. You will, however, experience a general performance increase if the program is installed. To install the program choose the Install option from the Run Menu or run the SetUp.exe file on the root of the CD-Rom. If you do install the sotware be aware that you will still need the original CD-Rom in your CD-Rom drive. -------------------------------------------------------------------Trouble shooting: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 3.1 Animations - Why are the animations jerky? If the animations are jerky then check that no other programs are running in the background. If the problem persists then check you have enough free disk space on your C: drive for the swap file (Windows vitual memory). You need about double your physical RAM i.e. if you have 32MB RAM you need at least 64MB free disk space. You can also install the program to your hard drive to increase the performance of animations. 3.2 Keys - Why does nothing happen when I press a key? If the program is not responding as you expect when pressing a key it is likely that the program is not currently the active Window. When you run the program in windowed mode as opposed to fullscreen it is possible to click 'off' the program and cause it to no longer be the active window. If this happens all key presses will fail to reach the software. To solve this just click on the menu bar at the top of the program window and press the key again. 3.3 Autorun - Why does nothing happen when I put the CD in? The CD should run automatically when you insert it. If it doesn't then you may h ave autorun disabled. To check this: i) Open up 'Device Manager' ii) Locate your CD drive and click on the settings tab. iii) Check that 'Auto Insert Notification' is selected. -------------------------------------------------------------------Contacts: ^^^^^^^^^ 4.1 This software was designed, developed, and distributed by Oxford Aviation Services Ltd. website: www.oatmedia.com email: info@oatmedia.com -------------------------------------------------------------------LEGAL: ^^^^^^ 5.1 Copyright The Computer Based Training on this CD-ROM has been designed and created by
