Welcome to the Fifth German WPC Conference

We look forward to welcoming you to the biggest European Conference on Wood-Plastic Composites (WPC)! WPC continues to grow, established and new market players force of innovations has been proven to be a reliable provider to open opportunities to new applications and markets. This makes WPC stand out from the general trend of most wood-based materials. But what concerns the industry? What are new opportunities in technology and markets, what barriers exist and how can they be overcome? The Fifth German WPC Conference will discuss these questions and expand its position as the European lead conference of this eld. We are expecting more than 300 participants from Germany and other countries as well as more than 30 exhibitors consolidating our position as the lead congress of this eld. The traditional highlight will be the WPC Innovation Award, honouring groundbreaking results in the area of application, material and process. New is, that every day of the conference will have its own language on the rst day, the conference language will be German, on the second day we will switch to English, in each case with simultaneous translation. The key topics of each day have been selected accordingly. The afternoon of the second day will be reserved for innovative suppliers of WPC-granulates, to get them more well deserved attention in the world of plastics and polymers. For the rst time we have simultaneously organized the workshop WPC hands-on to offer a practical approach to WPC and its applications for new companies and participants.
