Definition of Essay
An essay is usually a short piece of writing. It is often written from an author's personal point of view. Essays can be literary criticism, political manifestos, learned arguments, observations of daily life, recollections, and reflections of the author. Like the novel, the essay is a literary device for saying almost everything about almost anything, usually on a certain topic. Although essay is a written form of the authors point of view, it is impossible to give all things in full for a single essay has its limit. It must also be factual and concrete particular. Essay is divided into two categories! Essay as a pedagogical tool and the non literary essays. Each category is divided into classes. "escriptive, #arrative, E$emplification, %omparison and %ontrast, %ause and Effect, %lassification and "ivision, "efinition, and many others. &isual Arts, 'ilm, (usic, )hotography, and Employment fall under non literary.
