Global Business Reports (GBR) Job Description International Project Coordinator

GBR Summary: GBR was established 9 years ago and is a British owned company with Headquarters in Istanbul. The companys principle activity is producing sector speci ic country reports that are published inside various leading international Trade !aga"ines. GBR acts as a content provider to these maga"ines. GBR generates its revenue through selling advertising spaces within the reports to leading institutions#companies in the countries that we choose to cover. To achieve this$ a team consisting o a Journalist$ a Project Coordinator and occasionally a trainee will be sent to a country selected by GBR to produce a country report on a particular industry. It should be noted that the team wor% together very closely and that many o their responsibilities overlap. The team will interview the &hairmen#&'(s o the leading companies#institutions in the country#sector that they are covering to gather in ormation and to o er each the opportunity to advertise within the report. )ro*ects last +#, months The most senior member o the team will be the team -irector . responsible or the overall success o the pro*ect.

Based: GBR H/ is in Istanbul$ but )ro*ect coordinators will travel abroad or 01 months o the year staying +#, months in each country. GBR provides good quality accommodation . normally in a serviced apartment or urnished short term let apartment. Position Reports to: )ro*ect -irector Job summary: The )ro*ect &oordinator is responsible or the commercial aspects o each pro*ect.

!ey responsibilities: !ar%et research and development. -evelop ideas that can result in sales. 2rranging meetings with targeted companies#institutions. )resent GBR$ our medias and our product to &hairmen#&'(s and other potential clients and interviewees. )lan and implement sales and customer retention and development. 3ollow up sales leads and customer relations. 4or%ing with advertisers to produce the graphic elements o their advertisement. 5iaising with advertising departments and advertising agencies. )ublic Relations. Issuing invoices. Reporting to Head /uarters. 2ttend training and to develop relevant %nowledge$ techniques and s%ills. !aintain and develop corporate image and reputation$ and protect and develop the company6s brands

Career structure: 7uccess ul candidates begin as a trainee and will be trained 8on the ield as a third member o one o GBRs teams. 9nder the supervision and guidance o the )ro*ect -irector and the other member o the team$ the trainee will assist them in all o their tas%s : learning and gathering e;perience all at once. The trainee will attend meetings with the team and be as involved as possible in the administration and e;ecution o a pro*ect. (nce considered competent and with su icient e;perience and con idence$ the trainee )ro*ect &oordinator will be given opportunities irst to present our pro*ects to &'(s#&hairmen o target companies$ and eventually to attempt to sell advertising spaces to them. This training typically lasts or + to < months. 2 ter this time the candidate will become a )ro*ect &oordinator responsible or the activities listed above. Typically be ore one year in the ield a good )ro*ect &oordinator will become a )ro*ect -irector whereby they have overall responsibility or all aspects o a pro*ect =both commercial and editorial> and must manage the other team members as well as to train new members o the team.
