1. Following the Holy Prophet(pbuh) and its reward in the light of the Holy Quraan.

Two kinds of rewards have been Prophet(pbuh). entioned in the Holy Quraan regarding the atter of following the Holy

(i) Hubbillaah ! obtaining "llahs love (ii) #aghfiratullah ! Forgiveness of "llah "llah "l ighty says in the Holy Quraan$ Please de%lare (& 'eloved Prophet)$ ()f you love "llah* you should follow e. (only then) "llah will love you and forgive you your faults. "nd "llah is #ost Forgiving* the #er%iful. (+urah "l, ) ran* - .1) Fro this we learn that the Holy Prophets(pbuh) obedien%e should be one of inner love* not of ere show* fear or %ovetousness. This type of obedien%e is shown by hypo%rites as well. )t is for this reason that this dis%ussion is %o en%ed with love and ter inated on love. Further ore* we also learn that our worships and faith are both based on sin%erity and show and the Holy Prophets beloved things* personality* is the %ornerstone of this faith. Hen%e whatever degree of obedien%e one shows to the Holy Prophet(pbuh)* the sa e will be the type of love a%hieved. The giver is one but the re%eivers are different. The power of ele%tri%ity is the sa e bu the strength will depend on the wattage of the ele%tri% la p in use.

Shan Nuzool (Reason for its revelation)


&n%e the Holy Prophet(pbuh) en/uired fro the idolators the reason for their idol worshipping they replied that they worship the to show their love for "llah "l ighty. This verse was revealed in response to this reply. (0ha1ainul )rfaan). &r* the 2ahud(3ews) of #adina would say that they need not follow Holy Prophet(pbuh) as they are the sons of "llah "l ighty and His 'eloved. This verse was revealed on this o%%asion* this view is %orre%t be%ause +urah "le4) raan was revealed in #adina. Fro this verse one learns that it is %o pulsory upon everyone to obey the Holy Prophet(pbuh). )n Hadith it is entioned that if Ha1rat #oosa(pbuh) were to %o e to life he would follow the Holy Prophet(pbuh). )n addition* we learn that neither should you %o e to hi by assu ing the e/uality of a brother* nor try to surpass hi in the garb of a father* but learn to serve hi like a slave. Further ore* we learn that the Holy Prophet(pbuh) is the greatest 'eloved of "llah "l ighty and his obedient slave* too* en5oys being the beloved of "llah "l ighty.

6. Following the Holy Prophet(pbuh) and its reward in the light of Hadith.
"%%ording to the Hadiths any rewards have been entioned for following the Holy Prophet(pbuh)* the biggest being obtaining his %o panionship in Paradise. The Holy Prophet(pbuh) used to perfor ; types of tasks. (i) Faraai1 (duties) (ii) 7aa5ibaat (obligatories) (iii) #ustahabbaat (9e%o ended a%tions) (iv) "adaat (habits) There are two types of +unnat. (i) +unnat Hudaa ! whi%h is related to worship ()baadat) (ii) +unnat :awa<d ! whi%h are related to the Holy Prophets habits (walking* eating* %lothing et%) " persons following =of the Holy Prophet(pbup)> is divided into two %ategories$ (i) 0aa il ! ?o plete* perfe%t (ii) @aa/uis ! Partial* in%o plete 7e should try to follow the Holy Prophet(pbuh) %o pletely (that is 0aa il) in all the above ; tasks. 7e should in our way of dress follow the Holy Prophet(pbuh). 7e should likewise dress ourselves in the way the Holy Prophet(pbuh) used to dress so that we ight be rewarded for this.

;. 3ubba #ubarak. (The blessed tuni%)


The Holy Prophet(pbuh) has on different o%%asions worn different tuni%s. &ne of the was of 'y1antine origin. Ha1rat #ughirah bin +hoba reports that the Holy Prophet(pbuh) had worn a by1antine tuni% that had tight sleeves.

A. 3ubba #ubarak. (The blessed tuni%)


Ha1rat "s a bint "bi 'akr(9.") took out one tuni% and said that it belonged to the Holy Prophet(pbuh). This used to be in the possession of Ha1rat "yesha +iddi/ua(9."). 7hen she died* ) took this tuni%. The Holy Prophet(pbuh) used to wear this tuni%. @ow we wash it and have si%k people drink the water thereof so that they %an be %ured. =+ahih #usli -ol .* 1B;1> Cear 9eaders* we should therefore wear 3ubba with intention of +unnat.

B.0urta #ubarak (The blessed +hirt)


The Holy Prophet(pbuh) had a white shirt and also ordered people to wear su%h %lothing. Ha1rat +a ura bin 3undub(9.") reports that the Holy Prophet(pbuh) said that $ (7ear white %lothes be%ause this is %leaner.8 =+unan Tir i1i$ -ol A p11D>

Cear 9eaders* we should therefore wear 0urta with intention of +unnat. (note that 0urta is a long shirt rea%hing near the knees).

D.0urta #ubarak (The blessed +hirt)


Ha1rat &u e +al a(9.") reports that the Holy Prophet(pbuh) used to like =+unan Tir i1i vol ; page ;.> ost the 0urta a ong %lothes.

Ha1rat "bdullah )bn "bbas(9.") reports that the Holy Prophet(pbuh) used to wear 0urta whi%h is above the ankles and whose sleeves al ost %overed the fingers. =#u5a )bn "rabi -ol 1 page 11E>

F. 'lessed ?ap
The Holy Prophet(pbuh) used to wear %ap. )n Hadith books* three types of %aps are entioned. Ha1rat "bdullah )bn "bbas(9.") reports that the Holy Prophet(pbuh) had . %aps$ (i) one egyptian white %ap (ii) one ade fro 2e eni antle %loth (iii) one that %overed the ears whi%h the Holy Prophet(pbuh) ostly used when travelling. =+ubulul Huda wal )rshaad -ol D p 6F;> 7e #usli s should always wear a %ap and never be bareheaded.

E. " a a +hareef (The blessed Turban)


#uha/i/ alal )tlaa/ #uhaddith +hah "bdul Ha/ Cehlavi(9.") says that the Holy Prophet(pbuh)s turban was not eG%essively big nor too heavy that it would be a burden on his head nor was it so s all that it would be tight to wear but rather it was of ediu si1e. =#adari5un @ubuwwa -ol 1 p DFD> Ha1rat " ar bin Huraith(9.") reports fro his father that it was as if he was seeing the Holy Prophet(pbuh) on the pulpit (#i bar) and that he has put on a bla%k turban and both of its bands (+ha la) were falling on his blessed shoulders. =+ahih #usli -ol 6 page EEH>. Cear 9eaders* we should therefore wear a turban to follow the +unnah of our beloved Prophet(pbuh).

Ha1rat "bu Hurayra(9.") reports that the Holy Prophet(pbuh) %a e out and he was wearing a yellow shirt* turban and antle(?hadar). ="s +iratul Halbiya -ol . page ;F6> Ha1rat 3aabir bin "bdullah(9.") reports that the Holy Prophet(pbuh) entered #akkah #ukarra ah* on his head was a bla%k turban. (on o%%asion of %on/uest of #akkah). =+unan )bn #a5ah -ol 6 page E;6> 7e should therefore wear " a a as well so that we ay pra%ti%e +unnah of Holy Prophet(pbuh).
