Sacred geometry is geometry used in the design of sacred architecture and sacred art. The basic belief is that geometry and mathematical ratios, harmonics and proportion are also found in music, light, and cosmology. This value system has been found even in human prehistory and is considered by some to be a cultural universal of the human condition. Sacred geometry is foundational to the building of sacred structures such as temples, mosques, megaliths, monuments and churches; sacred spaces such as altars, temenoi and tabernacles; meeting places such as sacred groves, village greens and holy wells and the creation of religious art, iconography and using "divine" proportions. Sacred geometry-based arts may also be ephemeral, such as found in visualization, sandpainting and medicine wheels.

Sacred geometry may be understood as a worldview of pattern recognition and a complex system of religious symbols and structures involving space, time and form. According to this belief, the basic patterns of existence are perceived as sacred. By connecting with these, a person contemplates the Mysterium Magnum, and the Great Design. By studying the nature of these patterns, forms and relationships and their connections, insight may be gained into the mysteries the laws and lore of the Universe. The discovery of the relationship of geometry and mathematics to music within the Classical Period is attributed to Pythagoras, who found that a string stopped halfway along its length produced an octave, while a ratio of 3/2 produced a fth interval and 4/3 produced a fourth. Pythagoreans believed that this gave music powers of healing, as it could "harmonize" the out-of-balance body, and this belief has been revived in modern times[1]. Hans Jenny, a physician who pioneered the study of geometric gures formed by wave interactions and named that study cymatics, is often cited in this context. However, Dr. Jenny did not make healing claims for his work. Many forms observed in nature can be related to geometry (for sound reasons of resource optimization). For example, the chambered nautilus grows at a constant rate and so its shell forms a logarithmic spiral to accommodate that growth without changing shape. Also, honeybees construct hexagonal cells to hold their honey. These and other correspondences are seen by believers in sacred geometry to be further proof of the cosmic signicance of geometric forms. But some scientists see such phenomena as the logical outcome of natural principles.

The golden ratio, geometric ratios, and geometric gures were often employed in the design of Egyptian, ancient Indian, Greek and Roman architecture. Medieval European cathedrals also incorporated symbolic geometry. Indian and Himalayan spiritual communities often constructed temples and fortications on design plans of mandala and yantra. The Sri Chakra or Shri Yantra is a yantra formed by nine interlocking triangles that surround and radiate out from the bindu point, the junction point between the physical universe and its unmanifest source. It represents Sri Lakshmi, the goddess of abundance on all levels, in abstract geometric form. It also represents Tripura Sundari, "the beauty of the three worlds." Four of the triangles point upwards, representing Shiva or the Masculine. Five of these triangles point downwards, representing Shakti or the Feminine. Thus the Sri Yantra also represents the union of Masculine and Feminine Divine. Because it is composed of nine triangles, it is known as the Navayoni Chakra.[1] Together the nine triangles are interlaced in such a way as to form 43 smaller triangles in a web symbolic of the entire cosmos or a womb symbolic of creation. Together they express Advaita or non-duality. This is surrounded by a lotus of eight petals, a lotus of sixteen petals, and an earth square resembling a temple with four doors

The Vesica piscis is a shape which is the intersection of two circles with the same radius, intersecting in such a way that the center of each circle lies on the circumference of the other. The name literally means the "bladder of a sh" in Latin. The shape is also called mandorla ("almond" in Italian). It has been the subject of mystical speculation at several periods of history, perhaps rst among the Pythagoreans. The mathematical ratio of its width (measured to the endpoints of the "body", not including the "tail") to its height was reportedly believed by them to be 265:153 (namely 1.73203...). The geometric ratio of these dimensions is actually the square root of 3, or 1.73205... (since if straight lines are drawn connecting the centers of the two circles with each other, with the two points where the circles intersect, two equilateral triangles join along an edge). The ratio 265:153 is an approximation to the square root of 3, with the property that no better approximation can be obtained with smaller whole numbers. The number 153 appears in the Gospel of John (21:11) as the number of sh Jesus caused to be caught in a miraculous Draught of Fish. Coventry Patmore has written a poem called Vesica Pisces, Part XXIV of the Book I of his cycle The Unknown Eros (1877

Triquetra (pronounced /tra!"kw#tr$/) is a word derived from the Latin tri- ("three") and quetrus ("cornered"). Its original meaning was simply "triangle" and it has been used to refer to various three-cornered shapes. Nowadays, it has come to refer exclusively to a certain more complicated shape formed of three vesicae piscis, sometimes with an added circle in or around it. This has been used as a symbol of things and persons that are threefold.

Symphatetic Magick

The term is most commonly used in archaeology in relation to Paleolithic cave paintings such as those in North Africa and at Lascaux in France. The theory is one of prehistoric human behavior, and is based on studies of more modern hunter-gatherer societies. The idea is that the paintings were made by Cro-Magnon shamans. The shamans would retreat into the darkness of the caves, enter into a trance state and then paint images of their visions, perhaps with some notion of drawing power out of the cave walls themselves. This goes some way towards explaining the remoteness of some of the paintings (which often occur in deep or small caves) and the variety of subject matter (from prey animals to predators and human hand-prints). In his book Primitive Mythology, Joseph Campbell stated that the paintings "...were associated with the magic of the hunt." For him, this sympathetic magic was akin to a participation mystique, where the paintings, drawn in a sanctuary of "timeless principle", were acted upon by rite.

Correspondence is based on the idea that one can inuence something based on its relationship or resemblance to another thing. The belief that consumption of walnuts can increase intelligence and memory may be based on the nuts' resemblance to brains.

The use of symbols, or rituals. These are the language of the unconscious, and represent an approach to unleash tremendous powers. Although we may not be able to fully explain to you how symbols work, we know from experience that certain symbols can boost the manifestation process tremendously if performed appropriately. Ajna: The Brow Chakra

Ajna (along with Bindu, is also known as the third eye chakra) is linked to the pineal gland which may inform a model of its envisioning. The pineal gland is a light sensitive gland that produces the hormone melatonin which regulates sleep and waking up. Ajna is symbolised by a lotus with two petals, and corresponds to the colour white, indigo or deep blue. Ajna's key issues involve balancing the higher & lower selves and trusting inner guidance. Ajna's inner aspect relates to the access of intuition. Emotionally, Ajna deals with clarity on an intuitive level.[25] (Note: some opine that the pineal and pituitary glands should be exchanged in their relationship to the Crown and Brow chakras, based on the description in Arthur Avalon's book on kundalini called Serpent Power or empirical research.)

Muladhara: The Base Chakra

Muladhara or root chakra is related to instinct, security, survival and also to basic human potentiality. This centre is located in the region between the genitals and the anus. Although no endocrine organ is placed here, it is said to relate to the gonads and the adrenal medulla, responsible for the ght-or-ight response when survival is under threat. There is a muscle located in this region that controls ejaculation in the sexual act of the human male. A parallel is charted between the sperm cell and the ovum where the genetic code lies coiled and the kundalini. Muladhara is symbolized by a lotus with four petals and the colour red. Key issues involve sexuality, lust and obsession. Physically, Muladhara governs sexuality, mentally it governs stability, emotionally it governs sensuality, and spiritually it governs a sense of security.[31] Woodroffe also describes 7 head chakras (including Ajna and Sahasrara) in his other Indian text sources. Lowest to highest they are: Talu/Talana/Lalana, Ajna, Manas, Soma, Brahmarandra, Sri (inside Sahasrara), Sahasrara.

Anahata: The Heart Chakra

Anahata, or Anahata-puri, or padma-sundara is related to the thymus, located in the chest. The thymus is an element of the immune system as well as being part of the endocrine system. It is the site of maturation of the T cells responsible for fending off disease and may be adversely affected by stress. Anahata is symbolised by a lotus ower with twelve petals. (See also heartmind). Anahata is related to the colours green or pink. Key issues involving Anahata involve complex emotions, compassion, tenderness, unconditional love, equilibrium, rejection and well being. Physically Anahata governs circulation, emotionally it governs unconditional love for the self and others, mentally it governs passion, and spiritually it governs devotion.[27]

Many ancient traditions recognized the gestalt reality of atomic matter. To the Jains of India, even the smallest particle of matter is a jiva, a life-atom or being. Indeed we ourselves are jivas (sentient, spiritual atoms) that circulate in and through the cosmic organism. Pointing to the relationship of micro, human, and macro scales, the Jains believe that an omniscient seer or saint can actually watch the process of unending metabolism taking place throughout the frame, observing the cells in their continual transmutations; for his individual consciousness has been broadened to such a degree that it corresponds to the innite consciousness of the giant universal being. With his inward spiritual eye he beholds the life-atoms, innite in number, circulating continually, each endowed with its own life-duration, bodily strength, and breathing power, as it goes about perpetually inhaling and exhaling. -- Heinrich Zimmer, The Philosophies of India, pp. 276-7 Our imaginations are called upon daily -- even momentarily -- to engineer and renew their pictures of dear life. This innate art form is as natural as our eye beholding an arch in ruins and of itself completing the missing airy curve. This activity is the divine root of our elemental urge for visual clarity and afrmation, and constitutes the fundamentals of an evolutionary "art-algebra" -- the creation mechanics for our seeking, learning, expressive human spirit. Interestingly, physicist Erwin Schrodinger believed that "the goal of atomic physics is to create images of the interior of the atom that appeal to our intuition and make sense in terms of ordinary experience"; but he was never able to interpret his theory visually as effectively as Bohr did with his "nifty, though obsolete icon" -- the universal picture of three oval orbits around a nucleus.Actually, the orbit of an electron is indeterminate -- blurry, fuzzy, and roundabout. Yet in higher macro-scales these elds of transformational probability do round out to combine into our familiar gyroscopic world. MERKABAH
The Hebrew word Merkabah ("#$%& "chariot", derived from the consonantal root r-k-b with general meaning "to ride") is used in Ezekiel (1:4-26) to refer to the throne-chariot of God, Several movements in Jewish mysticism, including the Ma!asei Merkavah of the late Hellenistic period following the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE, and later, students of the Kabbalah, have focused on these passages from Ezekiel, seeking underlying meaning and the secrets of Creation in what they argued was the metaphoric language of the verses. Jewish biblical commentaries emphasize that the imagery of the Merkaba is not meant to be taken literally; rather the chariot and its accompanying angels are analogies for the various ways that God reveals Himself in this world.[1] Hasidic philosophy and Kabbalah discuss at length what each aspect of this vision represents in this world, and how the vision does not imply that God is made up of these forms. Jews customarily read the Biblical passages concerning the Merkaba in their synagogues every year on the holiday of Shavuot, and the Merkabah is also referenced in several places in traditional Jewish liturgy. Merkabah (Heb.) - A chariot. The Cabalists say that the Supreme, after he had established the ten Sephiroth-which, in their totality, are Adam Kadmon, the Archetypal Man, used them as a chariot or throne of glory in which to descend upon the souls of men.

Merkaba, also spelled Merkabah, is the divine light vehicle allegedly used by ascended masters to connect with and reach those in tune with the higher realms. "Mer" means Light. "Ka" means Spirit. "Ba" means Body. Mer-Ka-Ba means the spirit/body surrounded by counter-rotating elds of light, (wheels within wheels), spirals of energy as in DNA, which transports spirit/body from one dimension to another.In modern esoteric teachings, it is taught that the MerKaBa is an interdimensional vehicle consisting of two equally sized, interlocked tetrahedra of light with a common center, where one tetrahedron points up and the other down. This point symmetric form is called a stella octangula or stellated octahedron which can also be obtained by extending the faces of a regular octahedron until they intersect again. In his books, researcher and physicist Drunvalo Melchizedek describes this gure as a "Star Tetrahedron", since it can be viewed as a three dimensional Star of David. Ascended Masters

In the Ascended Master Teachings is derived from the Theosophical concept of Masters of the Ancient Wisdom or "Mahatmas". They are believed to be spiritually enlightened beings who in past incarnations were ordinary humans, but who have undergone a process of spiritual transformation.[1] The term "Ascended Master" was rst introduced in 1934 with the publication of Unveiled Mysteries [2] by Guy Ballard in The "I AM" Activity.[3] This term was further popularized by others in books like The Bridge to Freedom (1951), [4] The Summit Lighthouse (1958), [5][6] and various other organizations such as the White Eagle Lodge (1936).[7] Originally presented by H. P. Blavatsky in the 1870s,[8] the "Masters of Wisdom" or "Mahatmas" or "Elder Brothers" [9] were further developed by C. W. Leadbeater, Alice Bailey, Helena Roerich, Manly P. Hall. Later on many others in theosophy-based organizations, especially in the United States, developed the concept of Ascended Masters which departs from the theosophical one in several aspects. It is believed that Ascended Masters are individuals who were formerly embodied on the Earth and learned the lessons of life during their incarnations. They gained mastery over the limitations of the matter planes, balanced at least 51% of negative karma, and fullled their Dharma (Divine Plan). An Ascended Master, in such an understanding, has become God-like and a source of unconditional "Divine Love" to all life, and through the Ascension has united with his or her own "God Self," the "I AM Presence." It is further claimed by various groups and teachers that the Ascended Masters serve as the teachers of mankind from the realms of Spirit, and that all people will eventually attain their Ascension and move forward in spiritual evolution beyond this planet. According to these teachings, they remain attentive to the spiritual needs of humanity, and act to inspire and motivate its spiritual growth. In many traditions and organizations, they are considered part of the Spiritual Hierarchy for Earth, and members of the Great Brotherhood of Light, also known as the Great White Lodge, Great White Brotherhood, or Universal White Brotherhood (per Peter Deunov). [10] According to Alice Bailey and Benjamin Creme there are sixty Masters of the Ancient Wisdom, dened as beings who have reached the Fifth Level of Initiation or above, with Djwhal Khul in a pivotal role as the master who telepathically dictated the many esoteric teachings in Baileys' books. Elizabeth Clare Prophet revealed the names of a number of these Ascended Masters that were previously unknown.

The concept of recognizing the spiritual self, one's own psychological and karma battles and how to
overcome them, and eventual Ascension of all humanity is covered in James Redeld's Celestine Prophecy and its sequels, The Tenth Insight: Holding the Vision and The Secret of Shambhala: In Search of the Eleventh Insight. These books, while controversial, are recent popularizations of the concept of Ascension. here is considerable difference between the concept of Masters of Wisdom in 19th century theosophy (as described by Blavatsky, Olcott, Sinnett, and others) and the current concept of Ascended Masters. [14] The believers in "Immortal Saints and Sages" [15] claim that these individuals have gone through a series of Initiations symbolically represented in the life of Jesus by the stages of Birth, Baptism, Transguration, Crucixion, Resurrection, and the Ascension [16]. The twentieth century teachings of the Ballards, Prophets, and others interpreted these stages as actual events and claim that although Morya and Koot Hoomi (Kuthumi) were Adepts and Masters of the lower matter planes and the elemental forces of nature, they had not become Ascended Masters until 1898, while Serapis and the Maha Chohan, who were interacting with Theosophists during Blavatsky's time, already were Ascended Masters. [17] This is not supported by the original Theosophical view. An unascended Master has, according to these later teachings, overcome the limitations of the lower matter octaves (physical, emotional, mental), yet has chosen to postpone the nal Initiation of the Ascension to remain in time and space to externalize and focus the Consciousness of God for the evolutions of the Earth. [18] If a person takes a Bodhisattva vow, they may choose to remain with the humanity of this Earth as an unascended Master in one of the lower Spirit/Matter Octaves, as was the case with Babaji. [19] It is believed by proponents of these beliefs that if enough mastery and externalization of the Divine Nature has been developed, such an Adept becomes an Initiate of one of the Brotherhoods or Sisterhoods of Light under the auspices of the Great White Brotherhood. [20] It is claimed that there can be a high degree of attainment within the lower body vehicles of expression (physical, emotional, mental, memory), yet that Adept may still not be Ascended (not primarily expressing through the Higher Bodies).[21] One such teaching claims that examples of unascended Masters are: Yogananda, Mataji, [22] and Lao-tzu. [23] The belief is that they have un-Ascended bodies that are not esh and blood of the lowest of the sub-plane substance of the physical octave, but of the "ner matter" that composes the upper etheric sub-planes of the physical octave, as well as the emotional (astral) octave, and the mental octave. [24]

The total number of the Masters of the Ancient Wisdom and other beings in the Spiritual Hierarchy identied by C.W. Leadbeater is a total of 17 beings only.[1] They are, going from the lowest to the highest members of the Spiritual Hierarchy, the seven chohans (Masters) of the Seven RaysMorya, Master of the First Ray; Kuthumi, Master of the Second Ray; Paul the Venetian, Master of the Third Ray; Serapis Bey, Master of the Fourth Ray; Hilarion, Master of the Fifth Ray; the Master Jesus, Master of the Sixth Ray; and the Master Rakoczi (St. Germain), Master of the Seventh Ray. In addition to these seven, there is said to be a Master Jupiter who lives in India that is involved with overseeing the people and government of India.[2] Above these eight are believed to be three beings, Djwal Khul, the communications director of the Masters; the Maha Chohan (Great Master), who coordinates the work of the seven Masters of the Seven Rays; and the Manu, who was the progenitor of the Aryan root race 100,000 years ago in Atlantis.[2] Above these ten are three Pratyeka Buddhas, but they do not interact with humanity; their function is simply to transmit the energy of the Seven Rays from the Solar Logos (the Solar Deity).[2] Above these thirteen are two beings, the Maitreya and the Buddha.[2] Finally, at the top of the fteen other beings of the spiritual hierarchy is Sanat Kumara, the governing deity of Earth, originally from the etheric plane of the planet Venus (believed by Theosophists to be a civilization hundreds of millions of years in advance of Earth).[3] The Seven Masters of the Seven Rays and Djwal Khul are depicted as living in far away parts of Earth such as Tibet, but they have paranormal abilities and are able to teleport, levitate, and travel at will on the spiritual planes. The Great White Brotherhood

Main article: Great White Brotherhood The Masters are collectively called the "Great White Brotherhood" in Theosophical system. The use of the term "white" refers to their advanced spirituality (i.e., that they have a white colored aura) and has nothing to do with race. Calibration
is the process of establishing the relationship between a measuring device and the units of measure. This is done by comparing a device or the output of an instrument to a standard having known measurement characteristics. For example the length of a stick can be calibrated by comparing it to a standard that has a known length. Once the relationship of the stick to the standard is known the stick is calibrated and can be used to measure the length of other things. THE VIOLET FLAME

The violet flame works by changing "vibrations". In physics, vibration is the speed of oscillation - the speed at which something moves back and forth. On the atomic level, vibration can be understood to be the speed at which electrons orbit around the nucleus of the atom. The violet flame works by changing vibrations on this level. Atoms are mostly empty space. The empty space between the nucleus and the electrons is where negative energy and karma can become stuck. When the atoms in our bodies and auras become clogged with this negativity, the electrons whirl slower and slower, and we begin to resonate more with negativity, and less with light - we have a lower vibration, and become less spiritual. The violet flame transmutes this negative energy. It does not simply surround and remove the energy, but transforms it into light. Because there is less density within the atom, the electrons whirl faster and faster, thereby raising your vibration. When you have a higher vibration, there is more spiritual energy in your body. Atonement
The full awareness of the Atonement, then, is the recognition that the separation never occurred" (T-6.II.10:7). Atonement, then, is about the healing of our primordial split with God. Is there any bigger issue? The reason the word "Atonement" is used for this healing is quite natural. Atonement originally referred to reconciliation. We may no longer believe, or may have never believed, that Jesus died for our sins. But we probably still retain, at least unconsciously, the underlying belief that reconciling with God means paying for our sinfulness. This hidden belief causes us to view the spiritual life as a series of sacrices through which we try to make it up to God.Through it all, something deep within us is trying to say to God, "I'm so sorry. The only split that occurred was between your image of yourself and your image of God. This means that the split occurred only in your mind, not in God's. Higher dimension as a term in mathematics most commonly refers to any number of spatial dimensions greater than three. The three standard dimensions are length, width (or breadth), and height. The rst higher dimension required is often time, and space-time is the most common example of a four-dimensional space. In physics and chemistry, the dimensions of a system are referred to as its "degrees of freedom". A Dimension is a full Frequency Band"or repeated sequence of "ashing on and off" of scalar standing-wave points within a morphogenetic eld. keylotonic Dictionary Time A temporal dimension is a dimension of time. Time is often referred to as the "fourth dimension" for this reason, but that is not to imply that it is a spatial dimension. A temporal dimension is one way to measure physical change. It is perceived differently from the three spatial dimensions in that there is only one of it, and that we cannot move freely in time but subjectively move in one direction. The equations used in physics to model reality do not treat time in the same way that humans perceive it. The equations of classical mechanics are symmetric with respect to time, and equations of quantum mechanics are typically symmetric if both time and other quantities (such as charge and parity) are reversed. In these models, the perception of time owing in one direction is an artifact of the laws of thermodynamics (we perceive time as owing in the direction of increasing entropy). The best-known treatment of time as a dimension is Poincar and Einstein's special relativity (and extended to general relativity), which treats perceived space and time as components of a four-dimensional manifold, known as spacetime, and in the special, at case as Minkowski space. Theories such as string theory and M-theory predict that physical space in general has in fact 10 and 11 dimensions, respectively. The extra dimensions are spatial. We perceive only three spatial dimensions, and no physical experiments have conrmed the reality of additional dimensions. A possible explanation that has been suggested is that space acts as if it were "curled up" in the extra dimensions on a subatomic scale, possibly at the quark/string level of scale or below. Another less-held fringe view asserts that dimensions beyond the fourth progressively condense timelines and universes into single spatial points in the above dimension, until the tenth, where a 0dimensional point equates to all possible timelines in all possible universes.
