2. Obiective Se vor preciza principalele obiective ale activitii laboratorului/centrului (max. 700 de caractere)1 2.1. Metabolomica agroalimentar: profilul si amprenta metabolic a moleculerelor mici (metaboliti secundari din plante i alimente) cu aplicaii n chemotaxonomie i biodiversitate, n autentificarea i trasabilitatea produselor alimentare si a suplimentelor botanice 2.2. Biotehnologie agroalimentara: produse i bioprocese asistate de enzime i microorganisme, 2.3. Biorafinrie: valorificarea principiilor active din reziduuri agroalimentare si resurse forestiere 2.4. Tehnologii de microncapsulare cu matrici natural pentru obinere de sisteme cu eliberare controlat (probiotice, pigmenti naturali) 2.5. Sisteme experimentale in vitro ( celule animale normale / tumorale ) pentru investigarea mecanismelor de reglare metabolic si semnalizare intra- i intercelulara 2.6. Obinerea, caracterizarea i testarea unor nanostructuri funcionalizate cu aplicaii n biomedicin 3. Domenii de competen Se vor preciza domeniile de competen ale laboratorului/centrului (max. 1000 de caractere) 3.1. Chimia compusilor naturali: metaboliti primari si secundari din plante ( pigmeni, compui fenolici, fitosteroli, glucozinolai) 3.2. Biochimia vegetal, alimentar, animal i medical: compusi bioactivi cu impact in tiinele vieii i tehnologii asociate. 3.3. Metabolomica agroalimentar: tehnici avansate de spectrometrie UV-Vis, IR, Raman i cromatografie cuplata cu spectrometrie de masa (LC-DAD-MS, GC-MS) 3.4.Biotehnologii agroalimentare: Procese fermentative pe suport vegetal , extracii asistate enzimatic ( biorafinrie) 3.5. Sisteme de testare in vitro a compuilor naturali biologic activi 3.6. Tehnologii de evaporare, microncapsulare i granulare, eliberare controlat n sisteme abiotice si biologice 3.7. Tehnologii de obinere i utilizare a unor nanobiostructuri ( nanoparticule, naontuburi, quantum dots, compleci metalici cu aminoacizi) cu aplicaii in biomedicin

Activitile laboratorului/centrului n ultimii 5 ani (2008-2013) Se vor preciza activitile ce se desfoar n cadrul laboratorului/centrului (max. 1300 de caractere) 5.1. Profilul i amprenta metaboliilor secundari din plante i alimente ( pigmeni, compui fenolici, fitosteroli, glucozinolai) 5.2. Extracia, caracterizarea i testarea de noi compui bioactivi din plante, din surse silvice, reziduuri agroalimentare: carotenoide, compui fenolici, acizi grai, antociani, fitosteroli, glucozinoloai 5.3. Procese fermentative pe suport vegetal, extracii asistate enzimatic ( biorafinrie) 5.4. Testarea in vitro a antioxidantilor naturali ( pigmenti antocianici, carotenoidici, polifenoli) pe culture celulare normale i tumorale 5.5. Testarea in vivo a antioxidantilor naturali ( pigmenti carotenoidici, tocoferol) la sobolani tratati cu agenti cancerigeni 5.6. Obinerea i caracterizarea microcapsulelor/microsferelor/granulelor i testarea in vitro a eliberarii controlate ( probiotice, pigmenti, biodesinfectante) 5.7. Obinerea, caracterizarea spectral i utilizarea nanostructurilor (nanogold, nanotuburi de carbon, quantum dots) funcionalizate, cu aplicaii n biomedicin 5.8. Implicaii ale complecilor metalici cu aminoacizi in sisteme biologice 5.9. Determinarea indicilor stresului oxidativ in esuturi de origine animal (normale i patologice) i diverse tipuri de culturi celulare. 6.
