Before I deliver my speech I hope all audiences to thank our God Allah SWT for H e has bestowed us abundant mercies, so, due to these we are able to attend this peaceful meeting. Furthermore, we, specially send our peace and salutation to our prophet Muhammad SAW, His messenger and His servant. And I thank protocol who has provided me time to speak today entitled: THE CHARACTERS THAT MOSLEM YOUNG GERERATION TO DEVELOP BETTER INDONESIA Dear Moslem brothers! When we talk about youngsters, we often find in many articles and we ourselves e ven witness the great role of youth participation in developing, favoring, and s upporting the development of nation. They are the hope of nation who will carry out the struggle for the sake of brighter future of the country. Similarly, they are at the same time, the hope of Islamic religion will strive for the sake of Islamic teaching in the next, maintain the Islamic law, who will safeguard the M oslem young generation at large from influence of destructive western style of l ife, who will be leaders for the next. It was yelled as: TODAY IS YOUNG TOMORROW WILL BE A LEADER. This statement encourages us to pay attention to the young existence in the futu re. By knowing all the facts we realize, how important role the young have for t he future. The youths supposedly symbolize the force never become weak quickly. For this reason, the former president of Indonesia Soekarno has once said: GIVE M E TEN YOUTHS WOULD SHAKE THE WORLD . From this statement we can sum up that Soekar no appreciated the young people more than the old. Why? Because they play signif icant roles, have great potency and great energy that can be prided. Dear Moslem brothers! Therefore our religion enjoins us to be flexible Moslem leaders for society who ultimately have to devote them selves for the development of Moslems community a t large. Ironically, in this sophisticated era we witness the conducts of young people are always against the Islamic laws. We pay attention to many young peopl e who are not a ware of their education and will be sadder if we see our Moslem brothers in our country behave badly and intentionally avoiding Islamic teaching s to follow western culture. We can not imagine and describe what is going to ha ppen in the next time if all the young people are careless in this responsibilit y. We have to be aware that the responsibility of nation developing and religion establishing depend on us. By those considerations we should be very cautious w ith any destructive western culture that would enter Islamic teaching. My brothers! Las but not the last, I should like to cal you to prepare our gener ation in order to be able to replace the old in the future. And I hope you and a ll Moslem brothers wherever they are to abstain from bad action and furthermore we have to develop our skill and potency to reach the bright future. (para pirsawan) untuk bersyukur kepada Allah, Tuhan kita, karena Dia telah memb erikan kepada kita rahmat yang meimpah-limpah, sehingga, oleh karena rahmat itul ah kita dapat berkumpul dalam pertemuan yang penuh damai ini. Selanjutnya, secara khusus, shalawat dan salam kita sampaikan kepada Nabi kita M uhammad SAW, rasul dan hambanya. Dan saya ucapkan terima kasih kepada pembawa acara yang telah memberikan waktu k epada saya yntuk berbicara pada hari ini dengan judul: KARAKTER GENERASI MUDA MUSLIM UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN NEGARA INDONESIA MENJADI LEBIH BAIK Saudara-saudara kaum muslimin yang terhormat! Apabila kita berbicara tentang kaum muda, kita sering dapati dalam banyak artike l (tulisan) dan kita sendiri bahkan menyaksikan peran partisipasi pemuda yang be sar dalam membangun, menymbang, dan mendukung perkembangan bangsa. Mereka adalah harapan bangsa yang akan berjuang demi masa depan Negara yang lebih cerah. Demi kian juga, mereka dalam waktu yang sama merupakan harapan Islam, yang akan berju ang demi ajaran Islam di hari esok, yang akan mempertahankan undang-undang Islam , yang akan melindungi generasi muda Islam secara luas dari pengaruh gaya hidup barat yang merusak, yag akan menjadi seorang pemimpin pada masa selanjutnya, hal ini diteriakkan seperti: SEKARANG PEMUDA, BESOK AKAN MENJADI PEMIMPIN. Pernyataan ini mendorong kita untuk memperhatikan eksistensi pemuda di masa data ng. Pemuda dianggap melambangkan semangat yang baik tidak pernah redup pemuda diangg ap melambangkan keberanian yang tidak pernah luntur . Pemuda dianggap melambangkan kekuatan yang tidak mudah hancur. Karena alas an ini presiden pertama Soekarno, suatu ketika pernah berkata: BERIKAN KEPADAKU SEPULUH PEMUDA, AKAN KU GONCANGKAN DUNIA. Dari pernyataan ini kita dapat menyimpulkan bahwa Soekarno lebih menghar gai pemuda ketimbang orang tua. Mengapa? Karena mereka memainkan peranan yang ji tu dan mempunyai energi besar yang dapat dibanggakan. Generasi muslim sekalian yang terhormat ! Karena itulah, agama kita menganjurkan agar kita menjadi seorang pemimpin Islam yang fleksibel bagi masyarakat yang pada akhirnya harus mempersembahkan sumbanga n bagi perkembangan masyarakat Islam secara luas. Ironisnya, di era yang canggih ini kita menyaksikan perbuatan kaum muda selalu bertentangan dengan hukum-hukum Islam. Kita memperhatikan banyak kaum muda tikad sadar akan pendidikan dan lebi h sedih lagi jika kita perhatikan saudara-saudara kita kaum muslimin di Negara k ita berprilaku buruk dan mereka dengan sengaja menghindari ajaran Islam dan meng ikuti kebudayaan Barat. Kita tidak dapat membanyangkan dan menggambarkan apa yan g bakal terjadi di masa datang jika semua kaum muda tidak memperhatikan tanggung jawab ini. Kita harus sadar bahwa tanggung jawab membangun bangsa dan menegakka n agama bergantung pada kita. Dengan beberapa pertimbangan itu harus kita begitu hati-hati terhadap kebudayaan Barat yang merusak yang akan mewarnai ajaran Isla m. Saudara-saudara sekalian ! Terakhir namun tak kurang pentingnya, saya ingin mengajak saudara untuk menyiapk an generasi muda kita agar mampu mengganti generasi tua di masa depan. Dan saya mengharap kepada anda dan seluruh saudara-saudara kaum muslimin di mana pun mere ka berada agar menjaukan diri dari perbuatan yang jelek dan selanjutnya kita har us mengembangkan skill dan potensi kita untuk menggapai masa depan yang cerah. The topic of my speech is "How to Face Globalization Era". As we all know, nowadays our world is in globalization era. We often hear it. Gl obalization is the process of transformation of local or regional phenomena into global or international phenomena. This process is a combination of economic, t echnological, sociocultural and political forces. In other words, every country in this world can influence other countries. Because of globalization, this world which consists of many countries is like "a global village". This term refers to the fact that people are considered to liv e in this planet without borders, without limitation. People are able to access any kinds of information easily. There is no difficulty to communicate, there is no barrier to interact with other people from all over the world. Brothers and sisters... Globalization has various aspects which affect the world, such as: in industry, finance, economy, politics, technology, and socio-culture. If our country wants to survive in this globalization era, we must be smart people. We should take al l of the positive effects of globalization and we should not take the negative e ffects. For example: we need to adopt and learn high technology from developed c ountry in order to develop our country. On the contrary, we must not imitate bad attitudes or behaviors from other countries like free sex and drugs abuse. Brothers and sisters... It is a fact that there are many challenges in globalization era. It cannot be d enied that globalization is related with competition and the ability to survive. The question is: what should we do in order to face the globalization era? The first one is, build up and strengthen good characters based on the religion. If we are Moslem, the guide of our lives is Islam. Second, we must master techn ology in order to develop our country. The last, always be ready to face any kin ds of change and competition by preparing and upgrading our skills. Ladies and Gentlemen... Brothers and Sisters... That s all my speech. Hadirin rahimakumullah saya ucapkan banyak terimakasih atas kesempatan yang telah diberikan untuk m enyampaikan sebuah pidato tentang sedekah ... sedekah mempunyai banyak sekali manfaat dan barokah diantaranya adalah : 1. Sedekah menjadi penyebab bertambahnya rezeki Manfaat sedekah yang pertama adalah bahawa sedekah adalah sebab bertambahnya rezeki. Dalam Al-Qur an Surat 6:160, Allah menjanjikan balasan 10x lipat bagi mer eka yang mau berbuat baik. Bahkan di dalam Al-Qur an Surat: 2: 261, Allah menjanji kan balasan sampai 700 x lipat. Allah SWT berfirmanyang artiya Perumpamaan (nafkah yang dikeluarkan oleh) orang-orang yang menafkahkan hart anya di jalan Allah adalah serupa dengan sebutir benih yang menumbuhkan tujuh bu lir, pada tiap-tiap bulir seratus biji. Allah melipat gandakan (ganjaran) bagi s iapa yang Dia kehendaki. dan Allah Maha Luas (karunia-Nya) lagi Maha mengetahui. (Al Baqarah: 261). 2. Sedekah adalah perantara kepada tercapainya hakikat kebaikan 3. Malaikat akan mendoakan orang yang bersedekah dan melaknat orang ya ng bakhil 4. Mengangkat derajat Itulah beberapa manfaat sedekah. Karena itulah, kita tak lagi asing mendenga r kisah para sahabat Rasulullah shallallahu alaihi wa sallam yang amat ringan tan gan dalam bersedekah. Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq Radhiallahu anhu telah menginfakkan se luruh hartanya dalam suatu kesempatan, dan Umar Radhiallahu anhu menginfakkan sepa roh hartanya, sedangkan Utsman Radhiallahu anhu menyiapkan bekal seluruh pasukan a l- usrah. Jika kita merasa berat dengan sedekah harta, ada banyak bentuk sedekah l ain yang bisa kita lakukan. Salah satunya adalah sebagaimana dinyatakan oleh Ras ulullah shallallahu alaihi wa sallam bahwa Senyum dihadapan saudaramu adalah sedek ah (Riwayat Muslim). Wassalamu'alaikum wr. wb. Alms cause increased provision The first benefit of charity is increase in sustenance. Allah says in qur an s urah 6:160, that Allah promises will return 10x for those who want to do good. E ven in the Quran Surat: 2: 261, Allah promises a reply to 700 x folding. Allah A lmighty says: "Parable (income incurred by) those who spend their wealth in the way of All ah is similar to a seed which grows seven ears, in every ear a hundred grains. A

llah multiplies (reward) for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Area (His gifts), A ll-knowing. "(Al-Baqarah: 261). 2. Alms is an intermediary to the achievement of the nature of goodnes s 3. Angels will pray for those who give alms, and curse those who hunks 4. Lift degree That is some benefit charity. That's why; we are no longer strangers to hear the story of the companions of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam very l ight hand in charity. Such as Abu Bakr al-Siddiq ra. have given entire estate on one occasion, and Umar ra. given half his property, while Uthman ra. prepare hi mself whole army of al-'usrah. If we feel heavy with dole treasures, there are many other forms of charity that we can do. One is as stated by the Prophet peace be upon him. that "smile in front of your brother is charity" (Reported by Muslim).
