MOS Practice Test Instructor Guide

The Microsoft Office Specialist Practice Test access card may be bundled with any MOAC Office 2010 text. This solution offers in-application; performance based testing; available for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Access titles in the MOAC line. Students may operate in either training (assisted) or test mode. A score report with areas for review is available to the student after testing. Through the administrator panel groups may be organized by instructors to view student results. To request Administrator access, please contact your MOAC Sales Consultant or Wiley Representative. Administrator accounts are not required for students to take full advantage of the practice tests and are optional only for instructors who would like to view student results.

Inside the Administrator panel you may disregard menus for Access Codes, Orders & Custom Tests. All those pertain to site license accounts which are not offered via John Wiley & Sons.

To activate your MOS Practice Test for XXXX 2010, you must first register: 1. Go to http://www.gmetrix.net/ and select Register Here to create an account. 2. Log in to your new account, and select Download MOS Practice Tests 3. Select the GMETRIX Download button, select RUN, and follow the prompts to complete the installation. Upon completion, you will have a GMetrix icon on your desktop. 4. Double-click the GMetrix icon on your desktop. Log in to the GMetrix interface using the username and password you created for your account. 5. Select Enter an access code to start a new test and enter the following GMetrix MOS Practice Test coupon number in the box: <<codes go here>> 6. From the next screen, select Microsoft Office 2010 / XXXX from the drop-down list. NOTE: You will only need to install the software on your computer the first time. Also, you will only need to associate your code with the specific MS Office application one time.
