The College NCC Unit is associated with 9 Tamil Nadu Signal Company of NCC Tirunelveli. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Army Wing was raised in the college with the approval of Directorate General of NCC Commodore U.N.Chithnavis, New Delhi on 28th October 2005 in the presence of Lt.Colonel V.K.Nair [Officer Commanding 9(TN) Sig.Coy.NCC], Colonel.U.T.Babu [Group Commander, Madurai] and is running successfully under the excellent guidance Director of Our Chairman Kalvithanthai Director

Dr.Kn.K.S.K.Chockalingam and Principal Dr.P.Subburaj. The sanctioned NCC Cadet strength is 100 [Only Male Cadets]. Every Year 40 NCC parades are being regularly conducted on Tuesdays, Thursdays [06.00AM to 08.00AM] and on Saturdays between [07.00 AM and 12.00 PM], each parade consisting of 3 periods (i.e) 2 Hours. Parade Instructors from 9(TN) Sig. Coy NCC train and infuse great enthusiasm and leadership skills in our cadets. During the Parade Classes, the NCC Cadets were trained in Drill, Weapon Training, Firing, Map Reading, NCC Organization, Military History and Signal Training. The NCC cadets are regularly participating in various camps which include National Integration Camp, Adventure Training Camp, and Combined Annual Training Camp etc. To inculcate the team spirit among NCC cadets, various competitions are being conducted every year. The competitions include 1. Best Platoon Competition for Drill performance 2. Weapon Training Competition [WT] 3. Best firer Competition 4. Best Athlete Competition The winners are awarded with prizes and certificates during the NCC Annual Day celebration every year in the even semester.
