Note: Air must be supplied to the brake valve in order to adjust pedal. 1 Adjust the upper screw so that the free position (4) of the brake pedal has 8 4 mm (0.32 0.16 in) of play. This is measured while lifting the pedal from the static position (push rod contacts the plunger) (3). After adjusting, secure the lock nut and re-check play (See page 4 ). Note: When adjusting the free position of the brake pedal on a workbench, air must be supplied to the brake valve supply ports marked sup-1 and sup-2. 8 4 mm (0.31 0.16 in)

3 With pedal in static position, rotate the micro switch bracket (2) assembly up/down until the tool touches brake pedal arm. Note: To adjust the micro switch, the upper adjusting screw adjustment must be complete. For more information refer to, Brake Pedal Adjustment in function group 5. Note: Air must be supplied to the brake valve in order to adjust the micro switch. 4 Tighten brake micro switch adjustment screw to 10 1.5 Nm (88.5 13 in lb.)

5 Install under dash panels and secure. 6 Install all the previously removed cables to the negative (ground) battery terminals.
