Terms and conditions: Wilko Facebook Competition: Spotted!

Here are the terms and conditions for our Spotted! competition on Facebook. The prize is to win a Wilko Wildlife Hamper and will commence on 20.01.2014 and end on 17.02.2014. Were asking our Facebook fans to like our Facebook page www.facebook.com/LoveWilko and enter our competition via the Spotted! app. To qualify for entry, applicants must upload their best wildlife photo to be in with a chance of winning one of three Wilko Wildlife Hampers. Entries to the competition will close on 17.02.2014 and three winners will be announced on 19.02.2014. The Promoter is Wilkinson Hardware Stores Limited (Wilkinson) registered in England and Wales with company number 0365335 and whose registered office is JK House, Roebuck Way, Manton Wood, Worksop, Nottinghamshire S80 3YY. The Promoter reserves the right to change these Terms at any time and to communicate the changes to entrants by updating these Terms on this website. The competition is open to mainland UK residents over the age of 18 excluding employees of Wilkinson or any other company linked to the competition in any way. You must be 18 or over on the date of entry to the competition. To enter the competition users should Like LoveWilko on Facebook and upload a wildlife photo via the Spotted! app, including their name and email address in the competition form. Only one entry per household will be entered in the competition. The prize must be dispatched to a UK postal address. The winners will be chosen by the Wilko team from among the qualifying entries shortly after the closing date and time. By entering you authorise the promoter to use your submitted images for the promotion of the competition across Wilko social media profiles. The start date of the competition is 20 January 2014 and closes at 5pm on 17 February 2014. All entries must be submitted via Facebook before the closing date in order to be entered into the competition. There are no cash alternatives to the prize offered. The Twitter and Facebook username of the winner may appear on the LoveWilko Facebook page, Twitter feed and on the Wilko.com website and by entering the competition each winner consents to any publicity generated as a result of the competition. All entries are subject to approval by Wilkinson. Wilkinson reserves the right to reject any entries and remove posts without reason or prior notice. Wilkinson will reject entries which are (but not limited to) offensive, abusive, misleading, unethical, discriminating, defaming or pornographic in nature and such posts will not be entered into the competition. Wilkinsons decision is final. The selection of the winners will be carried out in the presence of an independent party appointed by Wilkinson and the result is final. No discussion will be entered into concerning the outcome. The winners will be notified via Facebook shortly after the closing date/time. If Wilkinson is unable to contact the winner within 14 days of the closing date, the prize will be reallocated to a substitute winner selected at the same time as the main competition. Winners will receive their prize within 30 days of the closing date assuming that there has been no delay in making contact with the winner. By entering the competition, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. The competition is not open to employees, family members or anyone associated with Wilkinson.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Twitter and the entrant shall not hold Facebook or Twitter liable for any loss or damage howsoever arising from this competition.

Wilkinson accepts no liability for any harm, damage or loss caused, howsoever caused (whether in contract, tort or statutory duty or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with the competition (as far as possible under applicable law). Entrants must not engage in or be connected with any conduct that may bring Wilkinson or its products into disrepute. Wilkinson will not accept responsibility for any late, lost, damaged, incomplete or fraudulent entries, entries lost through technical fault or for technical problems with the site. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
