Thank you for your prayers concerning the Social Security tax law in Hungary. As stated in our newsletter, God has

worked in an amazing way and we are not required to pay this tax for one more year. The government has kicked the can down the road so to speak, which has bought us time to raise more support for this financial need, and the tax will now officially start on January 1, 2015. In the meantime, we are PRAYING that the Lord will work out the details in Parliament so that Hungary and the US will form a Totalization Agreement. A Totalization Agreement would protect us from paying Social Security tax to both countries, also known as double taxation. Instead, we would pay S.S. tax to just one country (probably Hungary), and receive benefits in the United States (since we are not planning to retire in Hungary). Please pray that this might indeed happen so that our total tax requirements will be much less. Whatever the case, we are convinced that God is in control and His will will be done! We are currently at 83% support. Please pray with us as we seek to raise this additional 17% and as we plan our next furlough for Summer of 2014. We are looking forward to updating churches on our ministry, and hopefully visiting some new churches as well. Maybe we will see you too!

We are still raising support for the Solid Foundation Scholarship Fund. Many of the students who would like to attend Word of Life Hungary Bible Institute cannot afford to do so because they are from low-income countries in Eastern and Central Europe. It is our desire to give every young person the opportunity to study Gods Word, regardless of his or her financial situation. WOLH Bible Institute is looking for people who are willing to give towards this eternal investment. Will you join with us as we train young men and women from all over Europe for a lifetime of ministry? For more information, visit our website at www.SolidFoundation.info or email Jill at jweaver@eletszava.org. Check out this thank you note to a supporter from one of our scholarship students: It is a big privilege for me to study Gods Word here at Word of Life Bible Institute and I realize that I could not be here without your support. I am really thankful to God for you and your financial help. My family is not capable to pay for my school bill so we were praying for Gods help and He answered us this way. Thanks to your generous support I am able to study the Word of God for my own spiritual growth and to help in ministry in my country. This is my second year here and I am really excited to learn how to study God's Word even more. I live in Serbia and I see that there is a big need for more workers with children and youth. If it is Gods will, I will come back to Serbia when I finish my studies here, to help with the ministry with more knowledge and more experiences with God. I know that your help really is the answer from the Lord and I pray to Him to bless you and your family.
