HOBBIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS

I am an avid traveller who is keen to explore different
countries to experience the culture, the scenery, the people,
the food, the architecture, the art and the language.
I enjoy a large variety of sports such as swimming, netball
and aerobics. I am also a keen hockey player, greatly
enjoying the highs and lows that come with such a sport.
I was extremely proud to have completed my first (and last!)
bungee jump over the River Nile in Uganda followed by
successfully completing over 20 miles of white water rafting.
I have also completed several static line parachute jumps
during my time with the University of Exeter skydiving
society.
I am pleased to have also participated in a World Challenge
Organisation trip to Bolivia. It was a thoroughly rewarding
trip, which reaffirmed my wish to pursue teaching as a
career.

My teaching experience in India was one of my most

memorable achievements. It was extremely rewarding to be
able to provide a school that has a severe lack of adequate
facilities and teaching equipment with some of the teaching
methods used in other countries.
