Number 6, in reference to The USA is wrong. But overall interesting info. Reply Like January 19 at 1:50pm Aubrey Loney-Young University of Idaho Gloria Arevalo I don't recall there being a federally mandated paid maternity leave. Pretty sure that depends on the company you work with and the insurance. Reply View 2 more Gil Lim President at Philovier Corporation I do not have to travel far and wide but these information from the point of view of mapping makes me realize that I am just a speck of life in this world but nevertheless significant in the sense that as I live my life I partake in the shaping of the characteristics of this world. As I see my commonality with the world I connect and understand myself. I pray that you continue with your reseaches. Thank you. Fernando Rodrigues Escola Secundria de Monserrate There are some errors, for example Britain never occupied Portugal! This was made by americans right?? Reply 1 Like Follow Post January 18 at 2:15pm Timothy Goss It doesn't say occupy or attack, just invade. The English invaded Portugal in alliance with them against the Spanish and French I believe, making this a somewhat misleading but not necessarily wrong map. Reply 1 Like January 18 at 3:24pm
Cameron de Silva University of Manchester I think the use of the word 'invade' is quite misleading and if you read the article this map was taken from, the use is very loose indeed. 'Had a military presence' is a much more accurate description as in the vast majority of these countries Britain had no desire or ability to seize control which, I would suggest, is what a real invasion is attempting to achieve.
