Characteristics Use mira 5400 decora reibe is finishing render used on various substrates in- and outdoor. It is suitable for use thermal insulation composite systems as coating layer on top of mira netfix 5300. Substrate preparation The substrate must be stable, dry, compact, cleaned of dust, grease, oil etc. Concrete slurry (if any) shall be removed; weaker parts of substrate shall be removed and then repaired again. Highly absorbent and gypsum substrates shall be treated with deep primer mira 5335 quartz grund. Mineral render and mira 5300 netfix shall dry two days before covering with adhesive primer. If 5300 netfix has been uncovered for long time, clean the surface with facade cleaning products and water pressure. Let dry and cover with contact primer mira 5335quartz grund. Technical condition a) Mixing mira 5400 decora reibe is a dry powder to be mixed with water. mira 5400 decora reibe shall be mixed with 0,26-0,28 l of water per kg with a glue mixer. Let mixed compound to stand about 10 minutes and mix again. If necessary add a little water. b) Application mira 5400 decora reibe shall be spread on the primed or wetted mira 5300 netfix with the smooth side of a stainless steel trowel. The thickness of the layer shall be minimum 2-2,5 mm. Excess material can be remixed in the bucket. Immediately after application the surface shall be treated with a plastic float in order to achieve the wanted structure. Render is workable 10-20 minutes depending on temperature and humidity. c) Temperature mira 5400 decora reibe shall be applied and dry at temperatures (substrate, material and air) above 6oC. As valid for all products on cement basis do not work in direct sunshine. d) Application time Do not work on larger area that allows you to finish the structure within 10-20 minutes. e) Drying time Drying time depends on temperature, wind, humidity. Conditions 20C/65% touch dry primer dries in about 30 minutes. The drying up to touch dry takes 2-3 day. Cold and wet weather increases the drying time. At the drying time protect the surface from freezing, and precipitation.

Maintenance Render can be washed if necessary, pressurized water and a gentle facade cleaning detergents. When needed, render can be re-painted with silicone paints.
