Abstract / Introduction
The project titled Online Library Management aims that developing a system which will automate the functioning of the Library Management for Arina Institute. Online Library Management System provides member registration & lending books online.

Requirements / In Scope
These are the software capabilities that must be present in order for the user to carry out the services. This section gives short description of processes that will be performed by the system. System keeps
track of issues & submission of books. If book not returned on due date then member has to pay penalty based on no. of days due towards return date. Administrator also enters information related to publishers, authors and subjects for a particular book. Administrator can also view all types of reports like Member wise total book issued, Publisher wise Books, Subject wise books, etc.
Proposed System
The project titled Online Library Management aims that developing a system which will automate the functioning of easy, efficient and management of library.
Module Specifications
1. Manage Member Information: Member Information module includes detail information about the member & their membership
2. Manage Book Information: Book details module includes the information about the Book, its publisher, vendor etc.
3. Manage Lending of Books (Issue & Return): This module includes the process of lending books by a particular member & can return the book on due date. If book not returned on due date then member has to pay penalty based on no. of days due towards return date
4. Manage Stock: This module manages the stock information of the books.
5. Report Generation Module: In the report generation module various reports are generated.
Advantages
It will automate the functioning of easy, efficient and management of library. It includes detail information about the member & their membership It includes the information about the Book, its publisher, vendor etc. It manages the stock information of the books. Various reports are generated.
Disadvantages
Fake Ids can be made. Books can be destroyed.
