Guzzardi for Governor

vv This mini-essay is intended to summarize both key-issues and the political-personalities who havefor better or worse addressed what The Forgotten Taxpayer sees when looking towards Harrisburg for Good Government. I will answer all questions that may arise and you should please call [215=873-1317] or send an e-mail [bobguzzardi@bobguzzardi.com]. The Road to Reform starts now, in 2014, as we prepare to change the GOP to play The Long Game. Indeed, the only hope of reforming Pennsylvania is to reform the Republican Party. The Democrats are hopeless because they all hold almost exactly the same ideas. Incumbent Republican (?) Leadership (?) advances the Democratic agenda of more spending, more debt and more taxes. Reform begins now. There is more than a reasonable likelihood that I can beat Tom Corbett for the nomination. Then, from May 21st to November 4th, Democrats must be attacked/attacked/attacked as never before. I am more likely to defeat the Democrat in November than is Tom Corbett and his broken promises.

Ride the Wave - Vote the Independent Reform Republican Ticket

To reform the Republican Party, it is necessary to elect competent State committee-people committed to open and competitive primaries, and committed to end the rigged endorsement process, to give the Republican Primary Voters the freedom to choose who will represent them in the General Election. Vote "NO" to the Republican Establishment. Elect Independent Republicans to State Committee on May 20, 2014. The Republican Primary on May 20th is where the action is.

Please consider circulating petitions for me to be included on the May 20th Republican Primary ballot. People need an alternative to broken promises and a failed leadership that has repeatedly sold out the baseand the Forgotten Taxpayerfor its personal political profit. If necessary, change your registration. You can be independent and a Republican; I am. We are all The Forgotten Taxpayer. {http://www.bobguzzardi.com/#et_page_8}

I am a Constitutionally-Centered Conservative.

When you find we agree on core-principles, dont assume we have to agree on everything. E Pluribus Unum; Unity is not uniformity.

The Transportation Bill

Republican (?) Tom Corbett and Ed Rendell joined together to lobby for more spending and more taxes, the Democratic agenda; Corbett-puppets then voted YEA. The narrative of crumbling roads and bridges falling down, endangering children on the way to school was a fairy tale told by hacks that only a Democrat could believe.

This was top-down tax and spend legislation, pushed by Big Business, Big Labor, Left Wing Environmentalists and Big Government. Cui bono? To whose benefit? Not The Forgotten Taxpayers. {http://www.reconnectpa.org/KFC.html}

Sandusky is the 'X' factor in Corbett's Re-election.

Discussion of Tom [Corbett] and Jerry [Sandusky] is not personal; it is about the facts and the truth. Tom Corbett's numbers are underwater, and he is finished-off politically when voters weigh the combination of the Sandusky Scandal and the $2.4 Billion annual perpetual gas tax hike. Matt Sandusky was not being political when he testified that his adoptive father physically abused him; he was a victim betrayed by people whom he needed to protect him. He needs our support. {http://triblive.com/opinion/bradbumsted/5430768-74/corbett-kane-election#axzz2r8LwTUuj} Matt Sandusky wants to empower other survivors to report such abuse. He is grateful to the courageous young men who reported how he had violated their personal-spaces because, otherwise, he would not have had the strength to disclose his childhood traumas to prosecutors. Thus, had Tom Corbett made an early arrest, others would have been empowered to speak-out without fear; instead, he allowed a suspected child-predator to roam the streets. {http://www.centredaily.com/2014/01/19/3992523/to-empower-other-survivors-matt.html} Matt Sandusky shared his story in Happy Valley, a 100-minute-long documentary-film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Director Amir Bar-Lev wants to start a new conversation about questions such as whether Jerry Sanduskys abuse of young boys was an open secret in State College. Thus, this sordid tale will continue to play-out in many realms [legal and cultural] during 2014, raising the question among the quarter-of-a-million Penn State Grads as to whether Corbetts abrupt firingbefore an investigation, after he had announced his retirementessentially killed Joe-Pa. {http://www.delcotimes.com/general-news/20120716/freind-an-open-letter-to-gov-corbett-onsandusky-affair?viewmode=fullstory}

The Pension-Bomb

Union-controlled Corbett has yet to tackle the single greatest potential economic black-hole facing all Pennsylvanians; it is no longer possible to kick-the-can-down-the-road.

Education

Pennsylvania spends about $24,000,000,000 on K-12 education each year. Costs continue to rise; quality does not. Vouchers for All allows parents to choose which school is best for their kids. Vouchers for All allows the poorest kids in the worst performing and most dangerous schools to escape. It is immoral to force parents to send their child to a dangerous school or to a failed school. In Philadelphia 60,000 parents send their kids to Philadelphia Charter schools, about a 1/3 of school age children ; they vote with their feet against the governments top-down monopoly; the military model has failed for the last 40 years. An alternative model is needed.

The Economy

A growing and productive economy is the only cure for poverty. It is not compassionate to keep people dependent on government for three generations.

Guns

I totally support, as per the U.S and Pa. Constitutions, enforcing the right of individual citizens to keep and bear arms. This is explicit in the Pennsylvania Constitution [Article I Section 21 Right to Bear Arms The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned ]. We must keep guns out of the hands of violent criminals and the severely mentally ill, for both may be dangerous to themselves or to others. Therefore, we don't need more laws. We just need to enforce the laws we have on the books now.

Unionization

Eliminating the automatic deduction of forced union dues from workers' paychecks [HB1507] is a critical step toward worker freedom of choice. If unions are so good for workers, why are workers forced to join and pay dues for something they don't think they want or need? {http://watchdog.org/124819/unions-pennsylvania-battle} Worker Freedom of choice, free of government and union coercion, has intrinsic value for individual endowed with divine rights. Let us see whether Senate and House Republican (?) Leadership(?) sells out The Forgotten Taxpayer to the Unions. {http://mediatrackers.org/pennsylvania/2014/01/22/pennsylvania-paycheck-protection-plan-possible}

The Democratic Party

The Democrats are monolithic, at all levels of government; nevertheless, Casablanca-PAwhich is written by Veon-Cott Democratsis factually accurate and offers incisive analysis. Sometimes that happens; you learn something from the opposition. {http://casablancapa.blogspot.com/2014/01/isnt-it-ironic-dont-youthink.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Casablancapa+%2 8CasablancaPA%29}

The GOP-Controlled Legislature.

When Sam Smith starts to worry, we know we are sending the right message. Sam Smith voted for every one of Ed Rendell's budgets. Sam Smith voted to increase Pennsylvania debt by $6.3 Billion dollars. Sam Smith voted for the Republican $2.4 Billion dollar Tax Increase advancing the Democratic agenda of more spending, more debt and more taxes. The Smith Dynasty has held power for 50 years. "Clueless" Sam Smith signed the $10,000,000 ComputerGate contract for which John Perzel went to jail. The voters of House District 66 bear a lot of the responsibility for the mess we are in.

Daryl Metcalfe is The Forgotten Taxpayer's Friend.

Daryl Metcalfe has cast five (5) very good, under-the-radar, votes AGAINST Welfare to the Wealthy and FOR Liberty, Economic Freedom and The Forgotten Taxpayer. Daryl Metcalfe, John Metzgar, and Democrat Haluska voted NAY five (5) times. {http://thelibertyblog.org/2014/01/01/welfare-to-the-wealthy-appropriations-act-10a-to-14a-gavealmost-12-billion-dollars-to-billionaire-private-tax-exempt-corporations}

Not all politics is local.

What happens in York County happens to you. Every Senator votes on every issue that impacts your life. In York County, Republican (?) Governor Corbett, Republican (?) and Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi have colluded with their handpicked hack, Republican (?) Ron Miller, to rig the May 20th Republican Primary against Real Republican Scott Wagner. Scott Wagner is incumbent-insider Dominic Pileggi's worst nightmare.
