Our individual course listings allow participants the opportunity to attend classes and obtain certication at their own pace. Earn your certication by stretching the courses out over several semesters to accommodate your budget and time availability. WLD 101 Welding Occupational Orientation
Builds the foundation for basic dayto-day welding operations. Course covers time card preparation, report generation and record keeping processes, as well as teaching students to follow verbal and written instructions to complete projects. Includes all courses WLD 101 WLD 138 3/3/14 6/5/14, M F, 8 a.m. 4:30 p.m. 522 hours / $10,878.00 This course provides training and AWS certication in the most common welding processes such as MIG(GMAW), TIG(GTAW), Flux-Core(FCAW) and Stick(SMAW). Participants who complete the course are certied as AWS Level-I Welders. A graduate Level-I Entry Welder shall be able to perform minor external repairs to equipment and accessories in all processes, and setup and perform: SMAW operations making llet and groove welds in all positions within a limited thickness range on carbon steel. Gas Metal Arc Welding (short circuit transfer) operations, making llet and groove welds in all positions within a limited thickness range on carbon steel. Gas Metal Arc Welding (spray transfer) operations making llet and groove welds in limited positions within a limited thickness range on carbon steel. WLD 138 Thermal Cutting III


Introduction to manual air carbon arc cutting. Students will perform safety inspections and minor external repairs to CAC-A equipment and setup and operate various CAC-A techniques using various materials. Introduction to ux core arc welding process. Students will learn safety and repairs of FCAW equipment and perform various welds involved with FCAW. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to perform: Minor external repairs to equipment and accessories and setup and perform GTAW operations making llet and groove welds in all positions within a limited thickness range on carbon steel, and in limited positions within a limited thickness range of austenitic stainless steel and aluminum.

WLD 102 Welding Safety & Health


Explores the proper use and inspection of personal protection equipment and demonstrates proper safety practices in the work area. Introduction to the uses of ventilation equipment, hot zone operations, conned work space settings, precautionary labeling and MSDS info. Covers the proper use and inspection of equipment used for each welding and thermal cutting process. Prerequisites: None Course Hours: 8.0 Mon. 3/10/14 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cost: $180

WLD 137 GTAW-AL Process I

CWI300 Certied Welding Inspector Exam Prep Course


Two-week course offered 8 a.m. 4:30 p.m., Mon. Fri. on the following days: 3/17/14 3/28/14, 4/28/14 5/9/14, 7/7/14 7/18/14 or 8/11/14 8/22/14 80 hours / $2,475.00 including cost of all books The audience for this training will be individuals with 3+ years of experience in the welding industry. These individuals will be preparing to take the next step in their career and prepare to take the Certied Welding Inspector Exam. Qualication requirements and documentation required to participate. WLD 119 Welding Inspection & Testing


Exploration of various welding processes are demonstrated for inspection and testing. Examining cut surfaces and edges or metal parts and various welds. WLD 103 Welding Drawings & Symbols


Teaches students to read, write and understand welding symbols. Students will interpret basic elements of sketches, weld symbols and fabricate parts from drawings. Prerequisites: None Course Hours: 60.0 Mon. Fri. 3/28/14 - 4/17/14 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost: $1,350
