Idea
To develop a Linkedin Integrated platform where job seekers can ask questions directly to people working in that industry/company. The pillars of the platform rely on simple UI, business intelligence and validation. Innovation areas: Provide two ways to answer a question. Add a bullet point or paragraph answers Used API from Glassdoor to provide more insights about the question/position? A good source for API is http://www.programmableweb.com/ Career job board to be essentially different Simple UI Wolfram Alpha integration Data aggregation for resumes to match jobs Understand a data validation program We can create specialized categories like Ask a VC, Ask an Actuarial Scientist, Ask a Derivative Specialist etc. Skill specific job posting and resume analysis (Integrating business intelligence technology from Weiverr)

About
SYC is a algorithm that matches your insightful questions with expert's ability to answer that question. But there is more to that. We integrate Business Intelligence and Aggregation Suite (Weiverr) to develop insights about content which adds a unique twist to the entire platform. Stay tuned. Get Psyched SYC's analytical tool aggregates author skills to allow them answer questions related to their specific area of expertise. It allows the authors to create their brand, receive feedback and improve their area of expertise. It also provides authors with a dashboard that aggregates their skills and expertise using data aggregation. On the user end, it allows a user to ask specific questions about a Academic/Company/Specialized Knowledge and provides them with an opportunity to network with industry leaders. It allows users to see author's turnover time, net score, and many other information to know that their questions are provided with "smartest" answers!

Competitors
1. The main competitor is Glassdoor and Careerbliss Analysis: a) Glassdoor and careerbliss are both centered on company profiles. They provide reviews for companies, salaries, approval ratings etc. b) There are no job specific reviews, only company specific reviews c) There is a detrimental trust issue with both websites as there is no source of validation d) Why is there no source of validation: a. The company employee is not allowed to express their salaries b. A negative review for a company is essentially a termination letter c. The company is built around the model of anonymous e) Revenue model is built around job postings

2. Other type of competitors are job boards: a. Indeed/career bliss/etc: activity on Indeed job board is phenomenal. There are posts with 10,000 replies. There is no validation, information is cluttered and UI is crap. At this point, Indeed job board is probably the primary place users are going for information

about jobs. For us the market is right there. The users of Indeed job board will be our target audience while our curators will be integrated through Linkedin only b. About.com: This is a website that published article about literally everything. You will find articles related to investment banking to kitchen design. It is a static, no comment platform and curators are not the smartest people. There is no specialized knowledge available on this website and users are very gump 3. Other key websites: a) 1. jibber jobber b) 2. escape the city c) 3. Kindered HQ d) 4. Life after College e) 5. Media Bistro f) 6. O Desk g) 7. Pay Scale h) 8. Spring Tern i) 9. Startup hire j) 10. The Daily Muse k) 11. Corner Office l) 12. Vault

Current Product Analysis

Key Assumptions: 1. Experienced Professionals are willing to provide free feedback to people seeking advice. Free is not exactly true. We can gamify the feedback through provision of points, or some other scale. 2. Job seekers are looking for feedback on specialized topics. These topics can be related to subject matter or job matter. Like what does an actuarial scientist does at Google? Or How does derivatives are employed in constructing a pool of loans? 3. Experienced professional are willing to provide non anonymous feedback one a third part website 4. Venture Capital firms will be interested in investing in recruitment related industry
