Vision Statement
Following consultation with students and the Student Council a small amendment (indicated below) has been made to our Vision Statement.

Together we will create outstanding, inspirational education in a vibrant, inclusive environment that will transform the learning and lives of those we serve. Information for Year 11 Parents & Carers Dont forget that Yr. 11 Parents Evening will take place on Thursday 30 January from 4pm6pm on the East Site. This will be held in the Sports Hall. Revision sessions for Yr. 11 will commence on Monday. A detailed timetable will be published on our website

Fancy Finishers Cookery Club The Fancy Finishers cookery club has now started. All students who wish to attend this after school club must collect a permission letter from Miss Brayford or Mrs Leeks. This needs to be filled out in order for students to attend next week. All students are welcome. West site students can use the school transfer bus to get from West to East although parents/carers must collect their child from the East Site at 4.30pm when the club finishes.

Monday 27 January 2014 - Careers Advice Session from 15:00 until 17:00 in the East Site Auditorium with Careers Advisor Vicky Tucker from CXK. This is a drop-in session for both students and parents. Every Tuesday The Fancy Finishers cookery club runs on the East Site 15:15 until 16:30 and is open to all students of all year groups. Students must see Miss Bayford or Mrs Leeks to register their interest and collect a permission form to stay after school. Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Yr. 11 Business and ICT catch up sessions, every week in S103 between 15:00 and 16:00. Homework club runs after school Monday to Friday 15:00 17:00 on both East and West sites and is open to all students. Wednesday 29 January to Friday 31 January 2014 Disneyland Paris 2014 Trip, run by Ms Reynolds. 45 students from Years 7-13 will be attending. Every Thursday - 15:15 16:30 GCSE PE Revision Sessions, East upstairs PE classroom. Every Thursday - Historical Film Club for GCSE and A Level students who are taking the German History papers. Held in West Site Theatre 15:15 17:15 showing Nazi propaganda films of the time to help with understanding the types of propaganda shown to the populous. There will be questions to consider when watching the films. Permission slips must be obtained from Ms Potter. Childrens parties at Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey
On Sunday afternoon our East Site Sports Hall resembled Brands Hatch as 20 children aged between 5 and 7 enjoyed the thrill of the racing circuit. Whoops of joy were heard by all in attendance as the young ones raced each other on the battery operated Go-Karts. Between races the children enjoyed themselves in the inflatable gymnasium. After a couple of hours racing the children were presented with medals and trophies for their endeavours on the race track. Finally, totally worn out the children settled down to enjoy some party food and drinks. We can accommodate various themed parties.
