Description Name of the post applied for and area.

Instructions Should be exactly as stated in the Advertisement. If separate areas for a post are mentioned in the advertisement, the area for which application is made should be written and failure to do so will render the application invalid. Example: The post advertised is Technical Superintendent and in areas Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Biotechnology. In the column meant for area Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Biotechnology, as the case may be, should be written. If a candidate intends to apply for more than one area, separate application along with separate application fee (if not exempt) should be submitted for each area. The candidates should tender application fee of Rs.100/(Rupees one hundred) in the form of Demand Draft only drawn in favour of IIT Hyderabad payable at State Bank of India, (14182) - IIT Hyderabad (Kandi), IFS Code: SBIN0014182. The Demand Draft should have been issued on or after the date of publication of the advertisement. Application fee is non-refundable. No other mode of payment will be accepted. Application not accompanied by application fee in the form of Demand Draft stands automatically rejected and payment made in any other form stands forfeited. SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempt from application fee, as per instructions of Government of India. As stated in the certificates. Please note that the Institute will not accept change of address even if communicated after tendering the application. In case you change the address after tendering the application, please make your own arrangements with concerned persons/authorities for redirecting/receiving the communication to your new address. If this address is the same as that of postal address for communication, you may state same as postal address. Please state the religion. Please do not write anything in this column except circling the applicable choice. Please note that OBC certificate format has been prescribed by Government of India. If you belong to Creamy Layer, you are not eligible for consideration against posts reserved for OBC and therefore you have to apply against UR posts only and circle UR. OBC certificate format is different from the BC certificate prescribed by the State Governments. Attach only OBC certificate and DO NOT attach BC certificate. Please note that if you circle SC, ST, or OBC choice and do not attach attested copy of the certificate, your application will be summarily rejected. Essential qualification: Please note that holding the essential qualification is a must. The application of a candidate not having essential qualification will be summarily rejected even if such a candidate possesses one or more higher qualifications. Example: The essential qualification prescribed for the post is graduate degree. If any candidate possesses post graduate degree but not a graduate degree, the applicant will be treated as not having essential qualification. Enclosing mark sheets: Please note that enclosing of mark sheets is compulsory if the essential qualification prescribes possessing a class or a certain percentage of marks. For example, if the essential qualification is post graduate degree with a minimum 55% marks or post graduate degree with first class, enclosing mark sheets is compulsory, failing which, the application will be summarily rejected.

If the advertisement prescribes possession of knowledge, training or experience, details should be furnished in this column. Please provide complete information and attach attested copies of certificates. If certificates are attached, but column is not filled; or if the column is filled but attested copies of certificates are not attached, the application will be summarily rejected. Please note that attaching attested (either attested by self or by a Gazetted officer) copies of certificates, in support of date of birth, qualifications, knowledge, training, and experience stated in the application, is COMPULSORY.

Applications not in prescribed form stand automatically rejected. Candidates applying for more than one post must use separate Application Form for each post (along with required demand draft in original) and send them in separate envelopes super-scribed with the name of the post applied for. Short listing of candidates: Selection is solely based on performance in interview. The Institute reserves right to place a reasonable limit on the number of candidates to be called for test and/or interview. Written test and/or skill test may be conducted to short list candidates for interview. In such cases, marks scored in written test or skill test will not carry any weightage in selection. The selection process will generally consist of written/trade test and/or interview. No TA will be paid for appearing for Written Test. However, the candidates called for interview will be paid TA. The Institute reserves the right to relax age in cases of persons with experience. Further, the Institute also reserves the right to relax any of the qualifications, and/or experience in exceptional cases. Higher initial basic pay may be considered in exceptional cases.

Mere fulfillment of qualifications and experience per-se does not entitle a candidate to be called for test or interview. The Institute reserves the right not to fill up any or all advertised posts, cancel the advertisement in whole or in part without assigning any reason and the decision of the Institute in this regard shall be final. Persons serving in Government/Semi-Government/PSU should send their applications either THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL or should furnish a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE at the time of interview. They may send an advance copy along with DEMAND DRAFT in original. The Institute follows the Central List in case of OBC. No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delay, conduct and result of test/interview and reasons for not being called for test/interview. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
