Sri Guru ,ana" 6e+ i so that other saints would recognise them and their !orm became greater' 1n the treta age when Sri =am Chandar went to marry Sita they le!t #yodhiya to go to ana"%ur in order to meet her' #ll o! the o! the royal maidens were enchanted by the beauty o! Sri =am Chandar' 6ue to this Sri =am Chandar told them that he would satis!y their needs in the 6wa%er age'

1n the 6wa%er age the royal maidens assumed the !orm o! the Go%is and Sri 4rishna tended to their %hysical and se&ual needs' 6ue to the !orms o! both Sri =am Chandar and Sri 4rishna they caused lust with the o%%osite se& and could not eradicate this cardinal sin' :hen Sri Guru ,ana" 6e+ i went to the area o! Sangla 6ee%, which is now re!erred to as Sri /an"a all o! the beauti!ul women tried to enchant Sri Guru ,ana" 6e+ i' Sri Guru ,ana" 6e+ i through the %ower o! the word o! God destroyed the lust that was in the heart o! the beauti!ul women' 0y singing the gos%el o! the /ord and saying the name o! God they were able to bring %eace to the hearts o! the beauti!ul women' (hey no longer lusted and by seeing the Guru they were !ore+er in bliss and were at %eace' 6ue to being able to dis%el the lust in others the !orm o!
