Springfields young adult group, Emerge, have just returned from a fabulous weekend away at the Oasts There is a good report on the Springfield website springfieldchurch.org.uk/emerge-weekend/ plus a load of photos to browse the weekend away was superb! A truly nourishing and engaging weekend enabling a real sense of encountering God and the holy spirit!

Welcome to our new format all age service. After beginning all together in worship, prayer and reading of the bible we will have a choice of how we respond to the bible passage. We have arranged activities around Listen, Say, Do. Today, there are four very different ways of engaging with Mark's Gospel - Listening to a talk (with buzz groups), Joining a discussion, Responding with arts and crafts, Exploring the characters and story through drama.

The final totals are in from the Co-Op cell (formerly the Cushion Cell) festive food sale last December: thanks to your generosity, 315 was raised for the Croydon Refugee day centre which the cell help support.

John Nicholls recovering from his operation, and especially for Ann & Sarah supporting him Jean Silvester, recovering from her cataract operation Sue & Julies dad, Roy, following his operation, for a swift recovery

Why not invite a family to come along with you- its a great place to explore the Christian faith in a familyfriendly way

Returns this Friday at the Phoenix centre for all our young people to go and to invite their friends: Relax, play games, (energetic & chilled), get creative with some craft, mix with your friends, visit the tuck shop etc 7 - 8.30 pm: years 6 & 7 8 - 9.30 pm: years 8 & up

Leaders day away


On Saturday 17th May, we are delighted that Darren Johnston from Kings Church in Warrington will be talking with us about the positive impact that missional community groups can make in the life of the church. We will also be inviting our Extend partners from St Pauls in Brixton to join us to share this exciting message.
