DTS Security LLC

DTS was in the news in April because three of its employees were kidnapped in April. DTS is
apparently based in Nevada but not much is known about it because it is a limited liability
company, meaning there are minimal disclosure requirements. According to a news report,
Nevada state records on DTS Security LLC show that its incorporation papers were filed
March 11. The resident agent for DTS has another name, Headquarters Company, which has
an address next to the Douglas County sheriff's substation at Stateline, Nevada on Lake
Tahoe's south shore.

We, at DTS, have been overtaxed with inquiries regarding the precarious situation of the four
talian Nationals being held captive in raq. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide any
details regarding the men. The men being held hostages are not DTS personnel. DTS has no
operations that are active in raq or its surrounding neighbors.

Iraq contracts
EODT's reconstruction activities in raq were not disclosed in documents the Defense
Department provided to the Center for Public ntegrity in response to a Freedom of nformation
request. Media sources and information posted on the Web sites of EODT and the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers, however, indicate that EODT has or had post-war business dealings in
raq. The Pentagon was forced to back off initial statements that all known munitions sites
formerly used by raqi forces had been secured. As of late September, military officials said
that as much as 650,000 tons of ammunition remained at thousands of unsecured sites.
After the U.S. invaded raq in March, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded contracts
worth $3.45 million to Tampa, Fla.-based USA Environmental nc. and EODT to help clear
ordnance and explosives in raq.
