Prayer Concerns
Prayer Concerns in the Congregation Kay McCall (320 Tryon St. Burlington NC 27217) (227-7097) The injections are being effective in reducing the pain Kay has been experiencing.

Our first year together revealed our God blesses the efforts of those who step out in faith. Perhaps our second year is teaching us how we can work together more efficiency toward a common goal namely, bringing people into and sustaining them in an ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ. The task is impossible for one. However when people join hands together and seek the blessing of God, then we are successful in fulfilling our call from above! Teresa Jones and Gladys Oakley (3059 Melissa Blanchard has great organizational skills and is using them for the Lords glory as she fulfills the call to Lowe Rd. Elon NC 27244) (446serve as chairperson of the Church Leadership Team (CLT). Melissa has reminded me that no one can do every0360) - Teresa and Gladys are rejoicing thing, but everyone can do something. Melissas skills are helping us to work smarter. in the wake of recent tests and great results! You may feel led to serve on one of the eight committees/teams (audio-visual, building and grounds, fellowship, finance, music, outreach, worship and evangelism, youth). Deacon and Deaconess Nominations Welcomed!!

The spiritual well-being of the church, along with the growth of the church in number, is prompting the addition of deacons and deaconesses. The word deacon is best translated servant. The first deacons we learn about in Acts 6 were given the responsibility of making sure the widows were not looked over in the daily distribution of food. Deacons and deaconesses work alongside the pastor to serve the congregation. As servants we will do the following: 1. 2. 3. 4. Offer spiritual support in the challenges you face.
