Clean-Blow Neck-to-Neck 3-Layer

Uniloy originated the lightweight, handled, plastic milk jug in 1963, and its reciprocating blow molding machine has since become the industry standard, with thousands in use worldwide. Since then weve continued to bring technologies to market that help processors deliver better solutions. Our latest generation UR series offer three new advanced technology packages:
CLEAN-BLOW

Designed for high-volume integrated milk, juice, and water container manufacturing, Uniloys clean-blow (CB) systems feature sterile blow air and an enclosed, pressurized clamp area for bacteria-free nished containers in a wide range of styles. The stainless steel air system uses steam purge and HEPA lters to ensure sterile blow air. A proprietary mechanical sealing method at the end of the blowing

cycle seals the container, entrapping sterile air inside the bottles until lling, while a patented mechanical volume evacuation system eliminates the need for a typical vacuum system. New transparent guarding completely encloses the UR-CB clamp area. A laminar airow device delivers dry, treated air to the clamp interior, producing positive pressure to prevent outside leakage.

NECK-TO-NECK Uniloys neck-to-neck technology enables simultaneous blowing of two non-handled containers of less than 1 liter. The result is twice the output from a single machine, typically without the need for a larger extruder. Neck-to-neck systems are capable of producing up to 20,000 containers (250ML) per hour. This technology may also be able to be combined with Clean-Blow systems for high-volume production of bacteria-free containers.

3-LAYER Meeting market needs for HDPE milk bottles in countries with limited refrigeration infrastructure, Uniloy introduces the rst reciprocating blow molding machine capable of producing three-layer extended-shelf-life (ESL) bottles. It surpasses wheel and shuttle machines with 10-20% higher output in a smaller footprint, with 10 -25% less energy use. Uniloys new UR-65D 3L is designed for high-volume through the wall bottle production to match ller output. It combines Uniloys proven reciprocating-screw blow molding technology with sterile blow air and enclosed, pressurized clamp area. This enables containers to be produced and sealed in a controlled environment with bacteria-free blow air.
