A4STRACT
The pro'ect e*plains using a +I, -otion $etector with bu..er to play an (larm during unauthori.ed entry# To ser"e this purpose, a database has been created with the help of /ision (ssistant which consists of the images of the authori.ed users# When motion is detected by the +I, -otion $etector, the pro'ect comes in the working state# (s soon as the motion is detected, camera is 0& and the /I starts locating the face of the entering person# If the face of the person matches with the one in the database 1face detection2 then it allows safe entry to the user# If the face of the user does not match with the database, within the time period pro"ided, then it will generate an alarm with the &ational Instruments my$(3 in 4ab/IEW# The motion and sound data will be acquired and output using the $(3 (ssistant that is installed into 4ab/IEW with the &I $(3m* dri"er# The face detection algorithm and a sound file will be created using basic programming in 4ab/IEW1/ision (ssistant2# The +I, -otion $etector and the Bu..er are interfaced using &Imy$(3 at particular ports which need to be configured using 4ab/IEW#
